I mean, if that is how you look at it. I view it as two guys going through absolutely devastating events, and Roscoe was the rational one that metaphorically speaking, brought both guys back to seeing reason.

She didn't assert dominance. She recognized the situation was obviously getting out of hand. Finley was too stupid to realize Reacher, as much as he was trying to be calm, was super emotional at that point and it was stupid of him to keep challenging him. Reacher stepped over the line with the wife comment, so you had a powder keg moment. She realized they were two good people about to do something bad, so she diffused the situation.

I first heard of Jack Reacher when the first movie came out. Loved it, so I went and bought the books. As good a job as Tom Cruise did playing A character named Jack Reacher, Tom Cruise is NOT Jack Reacher. Alan Ritchson is vastly closer to the character described in the books. And he's much colder, like the book version.

This part never sit well with me. Reacher being in sheethole of a town exactly when his brother was killed there. Too much for my taste.

While they don’t know each other as well as they should, Jack and Joe are very, very good at understanding how the other thinks. Joe lured Jack here with the story of Blind Blake, knowing he’d be able to pick up in the not-unlikely event of his death
