This was a tearful and beautiful walk down memory lane for me, performed as a member of the children’s choir in my Congregational Church when I was growing up. I was just reading that he never published anything in his lifetime, but his wife published this hymn after his death. Here's this amazing legacy of worship, and he never got to hear it. God heard it, though, and he used it to bless the world. :)

This song was selected for our district chorus concert in district 7 Pennsylvania this year and I absolutely loved singing it as a Baritone. Such powerful lyrics paired with just as powerful music. Definitely one of my most favorite choral arrangements :) Thank you for arranging it!
