This is my favorite bird photography technique. Getting down low. To get that eye level perspective.
It really creates an impact to the image of the bird or the wildlife. I alway strive to do that.
This time I photograph waterfowls. And I have some great close encounters with the common eider.

Wonderful shots to end a drought! I had a terrible March for image captures, as well; spent easily 30 plus hours in Feb/March looking for snowy owls and not a one and too early for much else on the (still frozen fresh) waterways here. I 'love' how you scoop up a bit of the ocean with the lens hood at the end of the video!

Amazing low angle that threw the background and foreground out of focus. And the underwater shots that show the clean water is very relieving, the wildlife need that environment. Hi Trond. As always great photos. I see you change camera due to crop factor. I understand you use 4S due to better light performance, but have you considered for example D850 which gives you the same result as D500 when you crop? Then you would not have to change houses as you do in this video.
