Honorable Sir Colonel Ben Gbulie is a magnificent and Wonderful, wise Elder Statesman, and his words prove it. I hope Nnamdi Kanu will watch this video and see that THERE IS NO NEED FOR RUDENESS. Politeness is a virtue, not a weakness. As Igbos, we should promote our Elders such as this great Statesman for their wisdom. PLEASE WHERE DO WE BUY HIS BOOKS?

@@michaeloriala3873 , politeness does not imply an absence of anger. It purveys self control, which is a very necessary attribute of Leadership. We as Igbo`s should be more angry at our so-called Governors, senators, political and traditional leadership. They have done a very miserable job and watched our people sidelined under their watch. But as my Hero the Honorable Sir Colonel Ben Gbulie excellently posited, THERE IS NO NEED FOR RUDENESS. We can achieve more through good reasoning instead of angry rants.

There is one thing that all the people that saw the Biafran war keep saying including my late paternal grandmother, “We don’t need another civil war”. It is deep, our generation or any generation that didn’t see that war will never understand it. We are been oppressed in our land quite alright but we must hold our Igbo politicians/leaders accountable in their offices/responsibilities. The president is not our Igbo state governors, senates, house of reps, local government chairmen & ward councilors. So let us tell ourselves the truth. We are our problem. Charity begins at home. We can build and empower our people first before we start looking at federal. Tata Bu gboo. Today is on time. The time to give our people the best is now. We suffered during the war. What has the Igbo politicians done to help our Biafran war veterans, it mustn’t come from Nigerian Federal government

While we celebrate the survivors, know that a lot of young men in their early 20s and beyond perished. These young men were college students and young graduates. Some of them did not want the war but were conscripted and forced to join by their kinsmen to fill quotas. They died and were lost sons, brothers and uncles who never lived to get married and bear their own children. Some are even killed by their fellow Biafran soldiers. Biafran women suffered a lot of abuse from Biafran soldiers. They had to go through war fronts and cross over to the Nigerian side to buy goods. Reported, they were rapped and beaten by Biafran soldiers. I have never seen anyone talk about the atrocities committed by Biafran and Nigerian soldiers. Those who clamor for Biafra and praise former Biafran leaders should be careful to balance the stories. A lot of Biafrans have terrible experiences from Biafran soldiers as well as Nigerian soldiers.

This man has talked wisely and say my mind. we need to be wise, igbos has been doing good and can still do more best when we belive is AKURUO ULO. It's not about causing set back and crisis and harm to the people in the name of Biafra. if truly that igbos or Biafran side love themselves, then we need good Governance and make our place attractive first.. then others will jealous us and respect igbos. Igbos are not respected because we are not professionalized and established in our own igbo zone..but in other people's zone.. that's why they're treating us like a stranger and disrespectful. let we make ourselves to be attracted first in the eyes of other and then embrace our respect.

Thanks Damian. You listened very well to the old man's wise advice for the younger generation. We should all heed his advice, Ndigbo, Yoruba and others. Growing up during the war, I heard severally that one of the main reasons for the Hausa/Fulani brutality of Ndigbo during the pogrom and civil war had to do with the pomposity displayed by Ndigbo during Ironsi's short lived government. You can disagree with me on this, but please let us listen to the wisdom of Maazi Gbulie. Shalom.

I quite agree with you, but am sure it’s not Ibos that are rude. I am guessing it’s just few that are not exposed to other cultures. I am from the Yoruba tribe and have GREAT ibo freinds. I think Nigerians in general must learn how to respect one another. I advise that every tribe or culture must learn from this video. Certainl comments on this video shows that some people are yet to understand the many principles expounded in this video , one of which is that charity must begin at home. We must build our immediate community as a reference to good governance and able leadership. Doing so would make things to speak for itself. Regardless, this is a great video that’s worth sharing and I already did. God bless Nigeria

Pure nonsense! Who is more long suffering, enduring insults, from other tribes, than Ndigbo, being envied and rejected, everywhere they go, in Nigeria. Who is more friendly and accommodating than the Igbos? An igboman is a free thinker, does not pretend, and the only one that will let you know, once he feels insulted, by you. The igboman does not do ‘e ele sir’ or ‘ranka dede’. Everybody, in Nigeria, including the minority tribes, loves to hate the Igbos. The Igboman is more interested in his progress and ambition, that wasting time, insulting anybody, but when you insult him, he will give it to you, full time. Come to think of it, it was the other tribes, especially, the Yorubas, that first started to insult them, on Social Medial, insulting and calling them”Biafraud”, and being that they the best, at whatever they are set to do, the folks are now complaining. The igboman is the most magnanimous - very caring and forgiving. Did Nnamdi Kanu not advocating for even thre Hausas and Fulanis, while in Kije Prison? Is he not advocating even El Zakzaky? Even though Sowere offered much criticism against the IPOB, he got arrested, did “They Great Mazi’ not advocate for him. When he was arrested, were other tribes not rejoicing, even though they were also suffering? Now, how many Igbos have criticized Amotekun? When he formed the common BSS, which bore no arms, and was meant to protect his people from the Herdsmen, everybody was shouting that he had formed an army. And when his father’s palace was attaches, by a whole Battalion of Nigerian Army, with thanks and armored cars, with helicopter and even a gun boat, stationed, in the Atlantic Ocean, killing tens of unarmed civilians, which included innocent women and children as well as a dog, they were all rejoicing, even though it was all for their own emancipation. Don’t you think that it was as a result of Mazi’s actions that the Yorubas, suddenly, came to a realization of what the Awusa Fulanis, are really doing to them? What is the result? Amotekun. Say thanks, to The Freat Mazi! Other tribes, including the Awusa, are now rising up. Say

Maybe because they have not been apologized to. We went through hell in Nigeria, no tribe will go through that and still want to be friendly with any Nigerian. Why haven't the government apologized to the Igbos? Is't pride or maybe it's not necessary to them? If you're Igbo, you won't have any atom of love for the country called Nigeria and anything that has to do with it. My opinion tho.

We already know the way forward. Nigeria is a geographical contraption of the british that has failed. If the foundation is rotten what can any builder do. The video is just saying the truth about the foundation upon which this country is formed. It differs from the falsehood that was peddled to us . and this falsehood continues to be peddled. The 3 majors (or is it 5) have been protrayed as villians. Whereas the real villians with their cabals murtala obj ibb abacha abdusalam and jubrin .... continue to rape the people of the many tribes of this failed contraption called nigeria. We dont have to be together if a sections of the country continues to be marginalised based on well programmed falsehood.

Couldn't be better said! I did not expect less. I hope the Igbo youth are paying attention. Our Igbo leaders, particularly our governors need to pay better attention to primary and secondary education. Ignorance is the bane of groups such as IPOB. Nnamdi Kanu and a significant number of his leadership are poorly educated. I am not referring to certificates or whether one has lived abroad. I am speaking of a well rounded educational experience and proper parenting etc. There are many traders that did not complete their primary education, yet you can see them exhibit great awareness, culture, and quality faith in the true God. I always counsel Igbo youth that boastfulness runs against the Igbo ethos. I know this man and greatly respect him.

This man you're a wise man. please BVI don't ignore everything from this man because i believe God has given us wisdom. Jesus said in Parable, which king plan to war without first of all be sure that he will win, otherwise he will employ for peace... And He said again who among you who wants to build a house that will not first of all know the cost if he will be able to finish the house, otherwise he will stop along the way and people will laugh at him. so people who is Agitating for Biafra in a do or die affairs. must think about the gain and lost.

Sir, thank you very much for your service to defend us Biafrans, We Are Sincerely Grateful to you for your service. As you can see, Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB are seeking for referendum, and referendum is a conventional means to ask for freedom peacefully except in the Nigeria context, Fulani and Yoruba dictionary where referendum is seen as an act of war. Sir, as you said that Igbos are doing well in Nigeria, that is not the point, the point is Biafra is not free, and as long as Biafra remain in Nigeria, we will never be free. Biafra's destiny will be in the hands of Yoruba and Fulani. If you remember Patrick Henry's give me liberty or give death famous speech. I wonder Why some Biafrans are more concerned with wealth, doing well and living in Bondage in Nigeria instead of focusing on Liberty and freedom? If war will be the only option left to ensure that Biafra and her future generations are Free So Be IT. All Hail Biafra.

Elv D: talk is cheap to type on keyboard. Put yourself first as a sacrifice for Biafra in the war. Then we know you are serious. Biafra is not the kingdom of God. Only the kingdom of God is worth dying for because it gives eternal life.

Zion-pikin I have never referred Biafra as the Kingdom of God. You brought it up, It’s your problem. However, I don’t usually respond to cowards like you. I saw the war as a ten year old in the Biafra Boys company. The Fulanis are already in your backyard if you are a Biafran. Cowards like you will surrender before the first shot is fired, still they will not show no mercy on you, your children and your family members. Fulani is ready to descend on cowards like you, ohanaeze is urging Brafrans to defend themselves, but relax for some one else to fight for your freedom. Cowards like you die many times before you are actually gunned down by the Fulanis.

It appears you have not learnt anything from the Colonel. Who is the Hausa and Yoruba holding Biafra. The Colonel says you should mind your language. I suggest you pay attention to his answer from 30:00. If you dont know, 60% of landed property in Abuja is owned by Ibos. Why would they want to loose that. Put your house in order 1st in your community. Biafrans got what it takes, but some of you keep supporting the likes of Okorochas and Atikus to the detriment of your enterprising and hard-working majority. Referendum is not only needed in iboland. We all will peacefully negotiate the divolusion of this geographical contraption called Nigeria. 10yrs from today, all those cabals and demagogues from preindependence nigeria who particiated in the war n coups will be no more.

@Inusa Nuhu, God forbid, I don't hate no-one. Eastern region cannot reach their God given potential as long as we remain in Nigeria. I don't know about you, Nigeria is dragging all of us back to the dark ages, The East wants to develop and compete with western nations. Your understanding of freedom is basically owning properties, keeping them or loosing them to predators like you. You need to read a lot more about freedom before we can have a discussion about freedom. Guaranteed, the break up of Nigeria is certain, the Igbos loosing everything they worked hard to acquire is also certain. You can take away everything from the Igbos, what you cannot take away from them is the human resources, skills and ingenuity to rebuild.
