Most Ethiopian peoples mainly in the past were very conservative and only married other Ethiopians, this was mostly because they wanted to preserve their culture and religion, but now Marriage to different people all around the world is becoming more and more common. The driver tells you about mering other girls from other African countries might not understand you or he is telling you his own preference. As far as I know Ethiopians like to mery from outside of Ethiopia, specially the girls. For that matter, we have all kinds of tribes representing African in Ethiopia. If you go to the Gambella region, it exactly like South Sudan and even resembles Ugandian, if you go to the South they look like Kenyan or an other African and to the North look like Northern Sudan or sometimes Indian or Arabs. Everything is mixed and what he said is completely wrong. One thing strongly true is our sense of Africa. We love Africa more than any other nations.
