The untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever.
Transformers: One will consist of some major talent for its cast with Chris Hemsworth (Orion Pax) and Brian Tyree Henry (D-16), aka younger versions of Optimus Prime and Megatron. Scarlett Johansson will be voicing Elita-1, while Keegan-Michael Key will voice the early version of Bumblebee (B-127). Laurence Fishburne will voice Alpha Trion, and Jon Hamm will voice Sentinel Prime.

I’m super excited for this movie, it looks so good! The animation looks really pretty, the voice acting isn’t that bad, it looks like a fun time. And the director confirmed that the movie is going to be serious, they just made the trailer more lighthearted to get general audiences invested…because this movie is for everyone

im excited honestly but i understand if not everyone is gonna vibe with it its fascinating how the marketing team is choosing to focus on the comedy rather than what the movie apparently actually is according to the director (more serious and action oriented)

I like the color. They aren't painted but they are anodized. Which makes sense. If you had any paint it would chip and scratch off if you did anything. There rough finish and anodized gives them a metallic look while making sure they aren't too shiny. Shiny objects are hard to see in shadows so this look keeps them readable in all environments.

Fans: Optimus Prime is not Optimus if Peter Cullen is not voicing him. Me: As far as i know, There's a handful of Transformers Shows where Optimus is not voiced by Peter Cullen. He can't always voice him in every Role in the Transformers Fandom.

I showed the trailer to my mom, when B started runing she laughed. Also the movie isn't a tie-in, its just a origin. It has nothing to doe with the Bayverse or the Bumblebee movie universe. Its just a origin to educate new and younger fans

If you watch a video on KZbin at a higher resolution then your monitor can display then it is played with effectively less compression and better audio quality. It's not a huge difference but it is a difference. Though it would be even less noticeable when making a video out of it.

The more I see of this, the more confused I am. It feels like it's going to have to pack, Pax and D friends to enemies, two upgrades for each of them, the uprising against the Quintessons, the rise of the Decepticons... All in one movie. Like, I could almost get behind this being a brand new trilogy of films. Throwing the Quints off Cybertron, movie one. Resentment builds between two factions, D-16 and Pax come to blows, uneasy peace is struck. Movie two. Movie three, Prime and Megatron, lines drawn, all out war. But like, trying to fit all of it. All of the origin of prime and megatron AND the Decepticons AND overthrowing the Quintessons... Isn't it just going to be super rushed? I already wasn't vibing with the comedic tone. I wasn't sold on the designs, or the voices or the direction... But looking at all the toys and the plot points they suggest have to happen, the film is just going to have to be mile a minute and incredibly rushed. I was hoping to see the Lore unfold slowly.

Yeah I am having a lot of these thoughts as well, but for the time being I'm going to give the movie benefit of the doubt. it is possible the movie ends more open ended or a surprise part 2 gamble like Across the Spider-Verse. I'm getting a lot of TMNT Mutant Mayhem vibes, and I loved that so I think I just need to reorient my brain to this new movie style from what we've come to expect.

honestly. only reason I don't like this is cause it somewhat goes against establisted old transformers lore. optimus (in most stories) was orion pax yes, but he grew up in the upper layers of society. while Megatron (before he didn't even have a name) lived in the under area. the lowest of the low. megatron became a gladiator after living in poverty and suffering for so long. becoming a gladiator, to well, be heard. while orion was unaware. megatron, or as he went by, megatronus, lead a rebellion. wanting to break down society. the decepticons were rebels, rising up against an oppressive society. orion hearing of this contacted megatron. the two met and megatron became like a mentor to the younger orion pax. the two worked together, but megatron began to lose himself. becoming darker and darker. Eventually becoming a warlord after growing tired of being opressed... only to become an oppressor later on. while the autobots became a thing during the war. who fight against the decepticons. and cybertron begins to die. (ironically, most decepticons who started, were the oppressed and subjugated by the higher ups. and the major autobot members were from the middle and higher class.) (which is honestly what I would have liked to see as a movie.)
