He was a companion of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) for 15 years, there are several hadeeths telling us how Prophet SAW(PBUH) loved Umar (RA) and you're cursing the same man. And who told you that Sahabas were perfect human beings? They might have made mistakes, might have had rivalries amongst each other, but look at yourself first, we perform worse sins every single day - we can't even be the shade of Umar (RA) and the other Sahabas you curse.
