I like my outdoor kitchen, it reduces the amount of wear and tare from in and out trips
@janehargis930119 күн бұрын
I love this bedroom! To me, it stands out from other trailers in its league. The brass toned handles add a nice spark. It’s just well done in every respect. (Black power outlets again. Sigh.) Storage throughout is great. Kitchen has remarkable space. I love the bike and kayak storage. Josh, you spoke of a preference you had for a plug on the wall at the far right end of the kitchen counter replacing the overhead/ under cabinet mount. I agree. Working with dangling cords is awkward and unsightly though I get it that sometimes you just have to put them in that way. In this case a wall mount seems like the best option. White outlet cover por favor? Tankheaters, TPMS, 4 wheels down, a built in vacuum, wow! I love this.

I really like this one! I love the counter seating and the bedroom door being centered instead of off to one side make those cramped for space bedrooms feel so much bigger. Real nice amount of bedroom storage! I DO wish they had a place for a trash can. I know it seems like a small thing, but, let's face it. Everyone has trash they need to get rid of. No one wants to have their trash can just sitting out getting in the way!

We preferred when eating outdoors, to prepare the food inside, and bring it outside to eat. The one exception was grilling burgers, hot dogs, or steaks. But finding campgrounds with grills was not hard, so we eventually just left the outside kitchen at home and used the space for storage.

Nice trailer with a very well thought out layout. I like that you can option into 50A service as that’s a must for me in a trailer like this. I love the bar as it means you could still feed four without having the dinette. I’d order theater seats every time. Lots of very well thought out storage. I like the built in vacuum as an option but honestly if I were the manufacturer I’d delete it. I don’t think it provides enough value to be worth it. The under bunk area needs some tie down rings so that you can secure stuff like bikes that you’re storing there in transit. Re outlets in the bunks my vote at the moment is for 110v. You can plug a charger into one of those but if they give you a USB-C plug and your cable is USB-A it’s not very helpful. Given that we are in the midst of a move to USB-C as the standard I’d be sticking with 110 until things settle out a bit more. We have a camp kitchen and love it. The factory 2 burner stove was useless but I set up my Blackstone right next to the camp kitchen and I love having it. I also replaced that gas 2 burner with a plug in induction cooktop which is opening up new ways to use it since it got enough power to heat stuff. I love having the outside fridge for drinks as well. I grew up with a drink cooler that lived outside the trailer for drinks etc and while I bought coolers to do the same thing I’ve quit carrying one since with the outside fridge I just don’t need it. Some thoughts on towing. There is a persistent myth that you need more truck for towing in a place like the Rockies. But think about it. A gas engine HD and a top spec gas engine 1/2 ton generally make about the same power. The HD has bigger brakes but it’s also a much heavier truck in its own right and thus needs more brake surface for the same level of performance. What the HD truck buys you is stability. You don’t need that stability climbing a steep grade since your slowed down. You need it at highway speeds especially if it’s windy or on a 2 lane where you’re doing 60 and so is the semi that goes by heading the opposite direction. So even in MI a trailer like this will really benefit from a HD tow vehicle as the trailer won’t be able to move it around near as much at highway speeds. I see a trailer this size as being on the border. It can be safely towed by a 1/2 ton especially with something like the ProPride for a hitch. But it’s going to be much more relaxed experience when towing with a HD truck. Great work as always.

@JoshtheRVNerd15 күн бұрын
Are you targeting a "22-24" model number or 22-24ft actual length? I ask only because that will completely change any recommendations If you're seeking 22-24ft actual length, then those will almost all be single axle RVs If you're ok with a 22-24 model number, then you're going to continually bump into versions of this layout from other builders Check the links in the description if that's the case

Josh - the next time you look at this trailer please take an extra look at the outdoor kitchen. On my 2023, which appears to be unchanged, the included outdoor griddle doesn't fit properly on the slide. First, the unit doesn't fit on the slide with the griddle pan attached. Second, the holes don't line up with the griddle base. It simply doesn't make sense!
