This is one of the best selling iMacs of 2023! Here's why

The late 2013 21.5” iMac I think is one of the best selling iMacs of 2023 despite its age. Alot of people still use the 2013 imac for daily tasks like web browsing and don’t need the extra features you get with a newer iMacs like the M3 iMac.

My parents bought this in March 2014, almost 10 years ago! The 1TB Fusion Drive, and the 16GB of DDR3 storage are only now beginning to show their age. Even then, the GPU in the iMac is still powerful enough to run some games! I think this has officially taken the top spot for longest lasting iMac over from the 2009. When it turns 10 years old, we will be upgrading it to a maxed out M3 iMac to use for another 10 years

I agree. I recently upgraded my 2015 MacBook Pro to an m3. If it wasn’t for needing office 365 and support for Adobe I would have waited even longer. That 2015 still runs really well. I’m keeping it as a secondary screen for web browsing as it still runs like a champ.

Yep i got a 2013 , and it doesnt cease to amaze me, i make music, and i can run logic, with 15 different plug in windows going, meanwhile on the net watching youtube, editing video on imovie, like its rediculous, im gonna put an ssd in and itll be just as good as some modern pcs

You know whats funny i just bought this computer yesterday. completely blind when looking for an imac. i ended up going for this computer . 16gig ram . 189$ inch just paid. but that was with a 16ram upgrade and 256 ssd upgrade i added to it. ALL I WANTED WAS SOMETHING TO REPLACE A OLD 45 INCH FLATSCREEN (STILL THICK COMPARED TO TODAYS STANDARDS AND HEAVY ASS HELL ) Think i made a good choice ? THIS VIDEO GAVE ME THE CONFIDENCE THAT I MADE A GOOD CHOICE. WHAT YOU GUYS THINK GOOD I DEA? PLus i already have everything else apple already why not a nother device right? and one that was probubally my cheapest apple purchase in history wich is sad.

Terry!!! What would be a good Mac to run MainStage? Can old Mac mini 2018 will be capable to do it? What do you think? 😅

A 2018 mac mini will be good enough for about a year or so, but i would recommend buying a M2 mac mini instead with 512gb-1tb of storage. It will last you alot longer. 6+ years
