"Is there a way to limit how much gets stored in storage containers" is one of the Satisfactory questions of all time. :)

I'll never understand the reason behind this question

@@NatJMac It's curious that's for sure! I think it's to do with how Factorio handles a certain something vs the way Satisfactory handles a certain something. And Ryan hasn't quite made the (conscious or unconscious) transition yet.

@@mkaleborn ah I see I haven't played Factorio so I have no idea lol.

I can’t believe we’re 33 episodes in and he still hasn’t [REDACTED] 😂 I’m loving this! There is seriously gonna be such a big facepalm moment at some point and I’m here for it.

That was a great episode I really liked it. EXCEPT THE DAMN BELTS RUNNING THROUGH SOLID GROUND I SWEAR

A question NOT for Ryan (filler space for spoiler purposes): Why do you think he keeps ignoring MK3 belts? Example at 41:10, as he downgrades a Miner so the output fits on MK2 rather than using MK3 and getting double the Coal. I'm sure he noticed the belts and their speed at least twice, so is there some Factorio-related reason why he may not want to use higher tier belts? (Maybe the throughput/min being a "weird" number at 270/min?)

i'd say he's just conserving resources by using the lowest level belt that fits his needs.

If you just use a { *redacted* } at the { *redacted* } of a { *redacted* }, you can send { *redacted* } to a { *redacted* } and { *redacted* } to { *redacted* }

So iv'e been watching for a while , i understand that you are trying to do a bilnd play through so will not add any thing you don't know , but i do have a question. Given the fact that you are on a map that is hundreds of Km in each direction why did you decide to build a claustrophobic nighmare belt bus cramed into 4 foundations (32m wide ) ?

Hi there 😂 Gonna answer this earnestly, assuming that’s what you’re looking for: first, I only found out the map was big long after i had already started the bus. I also didn’t know the map was “hundreds of Kms big in each direction” specifically until I read this comment. Second, I literally said as I decided to build a bus “this is probably the wrong decision” and then I’ve said it about 40 times since then too 😂 currently the bus is teaching me a lot, and that’s super valuable to me. I know it’s not working ideally, but I feel as if I still don’t know enough about what future tech exists to know what system I would switch to. Hope that helps

I'm not trying to say theres anything fundementally wrong with what your doing, in fact i started a smart bus factory myself 4 days back that now spans the rocky desert biome :) ( also , hundreds of Km might be an over exaggeration, but the cube voumle of useable space is quite massive lol, sorry for pointing that out ), but i asked more of a way of indirectly making you think about how your going about it without back seating and saying do this this way or go look at the first minute of some guys video to get an idea ( nilaus if you were curious ). Don't get me wrong , i 've been watching every video and enjoying you stumbling about the place in a haze of confusion coupled with a whole lot of misdirected optimism, but you could be doing things to make your life easier as less of a claustrophobic nighmare LOL. Keep up the good work, i'm interested to see how you will find the rest of the game and working out the xxxxxxxxx, xxxxxxxxxxx, and xxxxxxxxx 🤐

@@lilindigestion Absolutely, this is a great learning tool! There is no reason we can't learn as much, or more, from things that end up 'not working out' vs having (seemingly) nothing but successes. You are exploring the game's mechanics, and are undoubtedly learning a lot about belt/bus design, controlling the flow of product, as well as where, when and how to go hog wild with buses.
