House at 1:32 with the white gate is where I was born and grew up until I moved to Exchange in 2001. Its a shame the landlord let it run to the ground like that. The little shop with with the twigs on it used to be the landlady's and she passed (Her nephew the new landlord ) took over and after we moved this is what it came to.

I enjoyed your video. I am originally from Port Maria, St Mary which is approximately 8 miles east of Oracabessa. The name Oracabessa is Spanish and means 'Golden Head' in English.

Everything is so lush and green with nice roads with no potholes. The heart of Oracabessa seems to be where the action is. I like the Goldeneye Hotel. Very sweet place and seems like nice area to live. TFTT,JI.

I was there in the early nineties twice. I was 10 and 13 . By 13 i had already just started smokin. But my mom didn't stay in tourist hotel. She had a friend. Most of the time I just ran around w the Jamaican boys. Those experiences changed who I am and I will never forget this place. I'm not joking when I tell you we went to the bounty killa concert etc. No tourists. It felt like another universe not another country. I'm gonna be 40. My good friend is a Rasta here I'm FL. He happens to have mountain land. I'm considering selling everything to be able to be up there. I want out of Babylon USA. I wish the ppl of Jamaica that think America has something for them could realize they have a paradise that most Americans would give up in a second.

Thanks for taking us thru Oracabessa. It is a lovely place, and I had spent about a week there in 93. I don't remember exactly where, but it wasn't far from the police station, on a cliff overlooking the beach. It was breathtakingly beautiful especially at sunset. Thanks again.

THIS IS ORACABESSA ST. MARY JAMAICA. Oracabessa is a beautiful parish with a lots of land. The roads are so beautiful and clean. The town of oracabessa needs to have more developments, and more mordern buildings.I know if if the people of St. mary invest more in their parish, it will draws visitors attention to visits or to lived.

Seperate and Apart from the Natural beauty that St Mary exudes, I am particularly distressed that this video certainly have squandered a great opportunity to showcase "Oracabessa".... that once Historic Famous & Beloved seaport town connecting Port Maria-East & Ocho Rios -West. and the entire Noth Coast corridor. Pls seek to Re: do this video as you missed at least 25-30 very very important historic & scenic points of interest to your turn around. Stay encourage and continue to PRACTICE your craft......."ORACABESSA"; HOME OF THE JAMES BOND FAME!!!!!!.
