@TheJCguitar: Thanks and happy Easter! @muggle911: I have the BB and Boost placed before the compressor, so I can even out their output volumes. They tend to sound significantly softer when I roll my guitar's volume down for cleans. Having the comp after these 2 drives also has the effect of smoothing out the drives, giving them a nice warm tone.

@jasonpalma95: I just cranked up the guitar's volume. The only drive is from the BB Pre which is always on, and the slightly overdriven amp.

@fifa853: If I remember correctly, I'm on the top boost channel, volume at about 10-11 o'clock, bass and treble at noon, master volume 10 o'clock too. Imo, the Vox's overdrive sounds better the louder it is, but anything beyond 11 o'clock on the master volume is way too loud for my home.

Well I continue tweaking but can never seem to find that right combination. I never know if I should use some amp distortion from the preamp with some pedals, use clean volume and pedals. I have gone back and forth with my pod unit but always come back to amps. Sometimes I love the blues jr and sometimes I don't.

Delay really depends. If I want clear delays for riffing I use a digital delay. If I want more ambient tones, I use the analog or tape simulations.

Yes indeed, there is a treble bypass mod. I use a mod very similar to the one on the Kinman website. I get very similar tones whether I play thru a Vox/Fender/Marshall/ or whatever. The eq curves may be different, but I do run my BB permanently on, so that's always a source of tone colouration there. And I should repeat the tired cliche "Tone is in the fingers" because it's true. Haha. Try tweaking your Blues Junior some more; I've heard friends get awesome Hillsong tones out of that too.

Nope, everything is before the preamp. The amp doesn't have an effects loop. I must stress that the amp is only slightly driven, so the delays and reverbs don't mush together very much. You can hear the amount of drive very clearly from 2:15 onwards, and how in interacts with the delays and shimmer.

Yeah I typically do also, cranking the master vol and preamp stays low to keep clean. OD pedals sound good but distortion thru blues jr, not as much. Do you have delays set on digital to keep that clarity? I use a stock tube screamer and nova delay, yours sounds very clear but not overdone or drowning out the original note. Mostly dotted 8th it sounds right? I think that treble mod would help me clean up better with the vol knob.

Very well done. I'm looking at the AC15 and to sell my NOS blues junior. Have u been tried or been able to get these tones out of a fender amp? Also, do you have a treble bleed mod on your guitar? Cleans up well but seems to keep high end.

I don't usually use much amp overdrive. I prefer the drive from my pedals. This particular recording was an exception. Just wanted to try something different. It's all up to personal taste really.
