Yep same. Our church usually plays 4 songs per week and we have a list of over 200 songs and I’ve only been there a couple months so every week I’m learning 3-4 new songs lol. It’s a challenge but I would trade it for nothing in the world. I get to play for over 1,000 people each week and bring gods word through my playing

Speaking of limited time, thank you for this video. I've been serving the Lord behind the kit for more than a decade. I got albums of songs I can play in my sleep. Our church rarely plays new songs so I got complacent studying them. Recently, learning a song by ear takes more time than before. So again, thanks & God bless. If you're a new drummer reading this. Please don't stop learning & practicing new songs.
