@@ulrichk3677 The GOH anime was trash. They skipped 3/4 of the story and did a speedrun through the fights. It left the entire series feeling like everything was too rushed and nobody had any motivation for their actions. Great manhwa but trash anime. Solo Leveling, so far, is a much better adaptation. If we keep on the current pace, the season will probably end with the class quest, which seems like a good season stopping point. While they did adapt the story a bit, the modifications don't detract from the story so much that you can't recognize it.

I had forgotten about the False Ranker thing until Jinho brought it up. Aniki as "Boss" is an interesting translation choice but I don't think it was the best one though, shouldn't be surprised I guess. Crunchy Roll often has questionable translations, hell in Slime that one girl is literally saying "Papa" to her father and the subtitle was saying "Dad". Wtf Crunchy Roll. Also I liked how the System was literally going "Kill them or I'll kill you before they do" (at least that's how I remember the manwha doing it).

Taking human life changes you, and not for the better. This is a sad moment. "Badass," sure. Peak? Absolutely. Incredible music and animation. Self-defense or not, justified or not, this is not a moment to be celebrated. It's very sad. The Jungwoo we were introduced to is *gone*. Something else has taken his place. Far too many men and women have gone through combat suffering too much from PTSD to approach subject matter the anime itself desperately tries to convey as heavy in a cavalier fashion, people I know who have had to kill to survive and they are all broken to some degree. Going through a moment like this and not suffering means you're either bad yourself, a sociopath, or already broken. All are equally sad.
