I think she has learned her lesson with this baby Lily! Remember when Leo was very young and she still didn't have much patience and the NGO had to take Leo for a month to rehabilitate him! He was almost not himself at all! She learned her lesson I hope! She would cry and look all over the place for Leo! We all felt so bad for her! Just to let people know about Brady and 🌈 Rainbow! Rainbow would always come and play with Brady when Rozy(the very mean momma monkey) would come see Libby! I think Rozy was trying to take Brady from Libby and keep Rainbow too, so she could abuse Brady and keep Rainbow and Brady! It's crazy how some of these Macaque momma monkeys are!! But both Brady and Rainbow didn't want Rozy!! They both wanted Libby for their mom! So, in come a few VO'S and take Rainbow and give her to Libby. And Rozy got mad because they both didn't want her at all! So she thought she was making Libby mad by keeping Brady! But Libby wanted both of them and couldn't do that so she kept Rainbow! Libby trained Rainbow very hard! Like Leo but they both went back to their mom Libby, they both loved her very much and I think they both new that Libby was training then hard because she knew they would need to be trained like that just from her own experiences with the mean females who were jealous of Libby and the idiot males!!

If that theory was true , prior to or since Leo , there would have been other babies being mistreated by the mothers. Have yet to see a mom kicking her baby like a football , throwing and pounding as she did, many times daily. It became an event for visitors as well the fact that Leo was a handsome thing. Some ppl blamed the baby , called him nasty names. He is fine now despite all the ugly sayings. There are visitors especially come for Leo . These babies are hungry, mom is their only source in a short window before weaning, then have to forage for scraps without mom's help. I never saw Leo being helped by Libby even to climb. Others helped him do that. But she did teach him to swim.
