I have watched these videos for the last 4 years and have seen many Katana. This is the best so far, the way you made the hamon and then added the "gold" color to it was fascinating. That is a beautiful Sword. It says you are from Vietnam. I am currently in Dalat, maybe I could visit your shop sometime.

That is a very fine looking sword you've made there sir. I do suspect that for a katana it is a bit on the dull side as I see you are also very careless with your fingers around the sharp edge of the blade. I suspect that if you would continue to do so one might call you Frankie Four Fingers. However, I've subscribed to your channel as you do really crafty work. Can't wait to see more.

It is a way of plating pure copper with heat. When the temperature is sufficient, the copper will rub against the steel and the copper layer will stick to it

I don’t know, maybe it’s worth trying to create a klevet from Warhammer vermintide 2, because in the Middle Ages this weapon pierced armor✨(two-handed hammer, morning star, klevet, all this armor pierced like a tin can) We never used such weapons, since no one wore heavy armor, for example, the knights of the Teutonic Order fell through the ice on a lake during a battle and drowned:D (this already happened in reality in Rus')

this sword is really very beautiful will the next katana sword be the Black Blade from the anime and manga 'Arfurate' and in addition you have made 8 Japanese blade plus this one which is 9 (a Tanto a wakizashi and 7 Katanas) you used either iron bars or a mold in the shape of the blade or even a metal plate or even a train rail or even a large rusty spring, the blade that you forged is magnificent and we must not forget a detail the Japanese blades are forged according to traditional Japanese methods there are 6 sites which make Japanese blades according to traditional methods (Artkatana, Katana-univers, Mini-Katana, Mon katana, katana store and Katana -Japanese) it goes much more than on metal work well, well, the blades that you forge are made by hand and not industrial, that is to say not in factories or made by machines, a blade that has been forged in a traditional way will always have more value than a blade forged in an industrial way because what really makes the beauty of weapons is the work of the one who forged it oh a small detail you must try the technique that the Vikings used to forge their famous sword Ulfberht steel in the crucible
