Dear Nick, thank you so much for reacting to this song. Here, Forestellla shows truly what they are capable of. This song was written by Serge Lama, a French singer songwriter. When he heard Lara Fabian’s rendition of it, he pretty much gave it to her, and it became her song. You must absolutely listen to Lara sing this song. There is a version that has English subtitles. You will be blown away. Forestellla excels in any genre they touch. I suggest next “ hijo de la Luna”, “” Time in a bottle”, “ Bohemian Rhapsody”, and certainly their originals; “Save our lives”, “For Life”, “Utopia”, and “White nights”. Names from left to right with family name first in South Korean tradition; Ko Woorim, Kang HyungHo , Cho Mingyu, and Bae Dohoon. .

Je Suis Malade was written by Serge Lama and Alice Dona and was first released by Serge Lama in 1973, but Lara Fabian made it a success in 1994 .I love Lara Fabian's version the most, ❤ The version by the Belgian/Spanish Belle Perez together with the Turkish/Dutch Karsu is also great to hear, also because Karsu sings part of it in Turkish❤. And of course I also really enjoy listening to Forestella's version❤

Nick thank you for this rather comprehensive reaction…wasn’t expecting that. Respect for explaining the lyrics… wish I’d had that when I first listened to this song . I felt thru their interpretation that it was a devastating event, but not quite the actual meaning. So even though armed with the understanding of the lyrics, I still react viscerally when I hear these voices performing this song. I don’t get the same reaction with Lara Fabian’s performance. Even Serge Lama the original singer and writer of this song has lauded them and shared this performance via Facebook in France and urged people to listen to their version.

Thanks for doing this lovely song. Forestella is just gorgeous (especially when they do songs that are in the range of my preferences). I think Bae Doo Hoon (singer on extreme right) really made the song, but they were all outstanding. You can see that he is a trained actor who is blessed with a beautiful voice with a great range. Yes, do listen to Lara Fabian's cover of this song. It is also superb, but I do prefer Forestella's version. The song itself was composed and sung by a Frenchman whose name I unfortunately have forgotten. But Lara's version probably is what made the song famous. I haven't seen the original so I don't know if you should do it or if there is even a video of it.

Utopia is the 2nd part of a trilogy, so please ask for SAVE OUR LIVES to be viewed first as Chapters 1 to 3 are in that m/v then Utopia follows with Chapters 4 to 6. The 3rd is yet to be released. But for now White Night is a good follow up.

Forestella is the only group that I have seen tackle Je Suis Malade, once Lara put her stamp on it, everyone else has stayed away, Lara conveys emotion beautifully.
