I'm a Purdue grad living in Minneapolis and had the chance to attend the final 4 here in 2019. While we didn't make it to MN, I proudly wore my Purdue attire to the game. I had MANY UVA fans yell Boiler Up, tell me how they were lucky to win and even how Purdue should have been in the final 4 instead of them. I think that type of respect is a reflection of Coach Painter and the job he does with the team. We love having you there and look forward to the coming season. HAIL PURDUE!

Really enjoyed this! I thought the interviewer was genuine and she asked interesting, thoughtful questions. Coach Painter? The best. I (Purdue 75) remember watching him as a player and he’s the best fit for Purdue Basketball. Really nice 40 minutes.

My great hope for Purdue this year is that whenever Purdue has a 10-15 point lead and the opponent begins a run, that Purdue doesn’t wait until the game is tied before calling a timeout. Neither Bobby Knight nor Gene Keady would ever allow a 10-15 point lead to dwindle to a tie without calling timeouts in an effort to try to control the tempo of the game.
