This is quite bad, honestly. I just hope maybe there's like an exceptional upgrade or items that can turn Ancient into Ancient+ without doing gacha. For example like magic candies but at high cost like reset the promotion star if not the level of the cookies to level 1. They're getting greedy at this point.

The fact that it's two seperate cookies really makes this unlikely. It's definetely a missed opportunity to make use of trial grounds again and make dark cacao viable as a choice from the might of anicents event but its definetely saddening that they're resorting to this system. Regardless, it's not something that the community is unfamiliar with so we'll probably be over it sooner or later.

​​@@Jingyuan-b5l i mean it's only reasonable for them to make updates that p2w can feast off on since They've been giving alot of free stuff since the game release im talking about arena reset rewards event tab rewards daily free rewards alliance reset rewards guild weekly and season reset rewards apologems - when there's an unexpected maintenance free legendaries - pull 300 times to pick one out of 4 legendaries (BP,ML,SF,FQ) the free stormbringer (log in 10 days straight) A MASSIVE WIN FOR F2P WITH THE 3RD ANNIVERSARY UPDATE and since there's almost over 100m or i think there's more they have given approximately about 6 billion crystals from all these 4 years (2021 2022 2023 2024) and approximately wasted 1 million or could over be above 10 million since they also have other games that they make profit off (COOKIE RUN OVENBREAK,COOKIE RUN WITCH'S TOWER, ETC.) and they've also given out codes for alot of players in need and approximately again they've given out 400k crystals worth of codes and 35k rainbow cubes and other rewards. they need this money to gain back their budget or they'll come back to making nsfw games like the games devsisters are making before.

Honestly Devsis should improve the old and outdated cookies. Everything is about the meta cookies, and gameplay is repetitive and monitors for every player aiming to use only meta. I pulled non-stop for dark cacao but just found out he’s a new cookie. This is very disappointing as I’ve been loving this game since late PV server.

Yeah this is pretty bad. I mean I’m excited for other new things for the game but to have a whole new powerful cookie right after releasing another is crazy. I know they need the money but this is overdoing it. Imagine the amount of time to build a regular dark cacao just so they can release a new one so that the old one wouldn’t matter. Honestly that’s just so lame. Guess they thought this is okay after they gave us a free stormbringer (which I would admit was pretty generous). They need to chill though. They are going to lose players and potential money despite their obvious plan to get more. I would normally consider devsis generous but that doesn’t make up for this trash addition to the game 😞.

Yes, it's TOTALLY different. You have to gacha him again since he was a new Rarity (ANCIENT+)

Honestly I don’t care 😭 the game is still the exact same and to be fair you can beat pretty much all the content with epics only it’s only really pay to win if u want to min max arena which 90% won’t do. I’ve been playing for three + years and the game changes all the time! At least this gives me something to grind for unlike some games where they update it and add barely anything 😭 anyways I don’t think anyone should bombard devsis with bad reviews as compared to most companies they are really generous
