Asalamaaikum warahmatullahi wabarkatuh. Anpadh nahi jo aapko school mai padhaya gaya hai wo galat akeeda hai. Being a Muslim even I am not perfect but wishing diwali is not permissible in Islam. It's not like we hate non muslims or you because even I used to feel like celebrating every festival but there are certain boundaries for us as muslims to follow. No hate at all there's nothing I have to hate or taunt you about "O what is she doing. Isn't she a muslim". No my religion didn't taught me that if I am putting a point across i have to insult or hate you. We are only allowed to wish when there's a chance for fitna (conflict) between the two religions.
