Idk why people act like you can't like a song really at first but love it later. Daniel Caesar's newer album "Never Enough" I thought was pretty bad my first listen. I ended up listening to the album 2 more times and I absolutely love it and understand the lyrics and themes of the songs now. Added half of the album to my playlist lol. Deftones is sometimes like that for me too where I have to listen to some of their songs a second time before I really like them, but this one I loved from the start. Good reaction.

Deftones is a weird band to kind of randomly stumble into with no context or anything. They don't really fit into any genre. Chino's voice is definitely unique. I feel like the music video for this song helps to catch the vibe of the song. My own summer is a good one to listen to also.

This is why people listen for the first time. Try it once and if it aint your thing than move on. Point is you gave it a shot. I will say it takes a few listens before it gets you hooked. Fyi any metal songs match the voices up to the lyrics and youll appreciate it for what it is:)
