Love love love Singapore. I lived there as a child for five years in the 90's, obviously the city has changed tremendously since then but there are still some things that are very nostalgic to me. The sound of the bugs, the flowers, the roosters! I went back for the first time in 2011, hoping to renew the experience soon!

You MUST come back! SG is very dynamic, it’s always adding MRT stations to new areas and changing the landscape for the people so obviously it has changed so so much! One thing I would recommend as a Local, if you have only one area to see, it must be everything around the Marina area. If you had only 1 place to go, definitely Gardens by the Bay to see the Flower Dome first and the Cloud Forest after that (and FYI the gardens are hectares big and practically all of it FREE!). Tourists always miss out zoos - which is a bad decision as SG zoos are multi-awarded and VERY beautiful! There are 4 zoos = Singapore Zoo, River Safari, Bird Paradise, Night Safari = all beside/in close proximity to ea other. It’s very very hard to choose between these 4, but I would say if you have time, go to the first 3 (I’m sorry I cannot choose which of the 3 is best, they are all fabulous!). We Locals love them so much = that’s saying a lot from the many things you can visit/see in SG! You will miss ‘Le Le’ though (SG’s very own born-in-SG-during-pandemic baby panda!). As per China’s rules, he will leave for CN soon sigh. Naturally never fail to miss The Jewel in Changi Airport - every KZbinr & Instagrammer’s dream visit in Singapore! Nice video. I'm an expat who has been traveling to and living in Singapore for the past five decades and has seen enormous development. You highlighted some of the off-the-beaten-path things that we expats and locals enjoy. I loved Singapore. The hawker stalls are amazing. I went with some locals who hooked us up. And it’s such a beautiful and clean city. Lots of parks. One of my good friends grew up in Singapore. How cool that you had a kimodo dragon encounter. Singapore has so much to do while there. I loved my time there. Glad you had that tropical adventure.

Wow! I know you all kind of thrive on broken down vehicles and being damsels in distress, but this video shows how much potential you all have for actually being a travel channel or and adventure channel and not a broken down RV channel. I loved this!!!

"Potential for being a travel channel"? They ARE a travel channel. A travel channel isn't just overseas travel by planes and boats, it's also domestic travel in RV's and cars. They got into the renovation stuff because of Covid and getting a little burned out on being overseas constantly, and to be closer to family because of family health issues. Doing the RV renovation let them continue to make content when traveling wasn't an option and to have their own RV for way less money than buying a brand new one plus have their own style in it.

I enjoy your adventourous spirit and I am envious of your youth and mobility. As someone who is old enoough to be your grandfather, I encourage you to seek out adventures and different worldly experiences and locations while you can. I also use to be and RVer, but at the time, full timing was not the thing like it is today. I did visit all 50 states though, and a lot of Europe. Suggestion: Just stay alert where ever you go and be careful. Also, plan for your retirement so you can have the resources you need after all of this KZbin stuff comes to an end. 💰
