This is a pretty big feature for me, but I find on my Xperia with a modded button to do the same, if the media is paused long enough hitting the button no longer Plays (even if the player is still loaded and I can hit Play on my watch to resume). I fell in love with having a multifunction/media button on my S10e with Android 10 (using the Bixby button, unfortunately Android 11/12 broke that on the S10e), and I've missed it ever since, as I listen to a lot of podcasts and it's annoying having to go into my phone to start/stop playback instead of just hit a button on the side, which I could do even if it was in my pocket. Neither the S22 nor the Xiaomi 12X are compact phones. Not by a long shot. In fact, even this Zenfone 9 is only "compact" with a heavy dose of generosity applied to that definition.

@@___David__ both phone are pretty compact by today standard, and S22 body dimension actually quite similar to this Zenfone 9 since it have small & symmetrical bezel size around

Is there any phone available with expandable memory (hybrid/dedicated) and good specs..?

Yes compact phones and flat screen is consumer friendly. But big curve screen is flashy.

*_I still have my Asus Zenfone 2™, although the screen went black not long after the warranty expired and the company refused to help me. I'm not buying anything from them anymore._* 🥺

Thing is how long are they going update it for(Android versions) and security patches?
@andyH_England2 жыл бұрын
Two years of updates minimum and three years of security patches. So not the best, but depends what your update cycle is. The average is three years ownership, so this would be fine.

@@andyH_England Not fine. Spend this much on a phone with 2 years of support...

My zfone 8 just bricked itself while i was simply browsing online. I loved it while it lasted but feel duped because it appears to be a common thing with the zfone 8. Hardware issue. Now im really tempted getting this new zfone 9 but im afraid it might have the same hardware problems as the 8 with asus craming so much into the phone at a relatively low price. Without an external memory card all files are now lost.

Beautiful review. How's the shutter lag on the main lens? Is the delay comparable to Galaxy phones?

As someone that had their USB-C port on their phone need to be replaced, I won't ever buy a phone without wireless charging built in.

I don't know if all the video was filmed there; but yes, I recognised some of the buildings from when I visited Chester.
