2:00 Ok i am genuinly confused. How did akali r1 hit? It is a point and click ability, but it isn't the same type of point and click dash that Qiyana E is (or at least used to be.) In other words, you still have to get hit by akali's champion model in order to take damage because in both of her ults, SHE IS the damaging projectile; If that "projectile" misses, then the enemy doesn't take damage.

The interaction has less to do with Akali ult and more to do with Yone dash from the E recast. Many dashes in League either by design or latency issues have the champion hitbox remain at the previous location until the dash is finished. Since the Yone E didn't fully cast, his hitbox is still in the damaging path of Akali's R1.
