Loved the dedication, I would've given up after 10 attempts. Based on the same concept, I usually try to kill anyone near edge so I can farm their gas mask like this! Make a note on whenever you kill someone at the edge and play off their mask supply!

Man,i remember when i did this in DMZ and i had a large backpack and only durable,i stayed in the gas for the whole match and watched everyone die in the zone,i felt bad for one guy and dropped 2 self revive for him before revive pistoling him and giving him 2 durable,he said" your a life saver" and then i added him, after that,the next match i said to the whole lobby i need duarble gas masks,i told them my location,i saw the whole lobby running at me with 10k$ and even much more,they said" here you go" and then gave them self revives before scramming out of there,i told them to meet me at the weapon case zone,after that i killed them all and send them requests and told them to plea for help, they were so happy,we trash talked to the dead juggernaut and chemist,great time i had! just wrote an essay.

I'm installed on an M.2 SSD and have a wired connection to fibre optic broadband, so I get a buttery smooth experience 99% of the time - that's why this lag was so unusual, I think it was just a random server issue, it happens sometimes

this is the reason why there should be a limit, that everyone can carry up to 2 of all kinds in their backpack. because that doesn't matter. you spend a victory with masks and steam. this way and without getting a kill you pass the victory. while the other one with 10 kills loses the game because of the masks you put on. they have to change this soon because the essence of the game is lost!!!

the PDS might be a bit overpowered with the backpack system, since you can carry up to 10 field upgrades per person, would be tricky to balance but who knows what they might add

just realised additionally the "overclock" perk allows field upgrades to recharge with time and carry 2 of them... potentially meaning you could carry 11 PDS at once and recharge a couple more while using the ones in your backpack 😂

I've tried it, basically it doesn't work because using/dropping/stowing a field upgrade completely empties your field upgrade slot (unlike equipment which leaves a kind of "empty stim" that resupply can refill), so you have no field upgrade at all to refill

If you have 1 it will automatically refill up to 2 in that slot, but the moment you go down to 0 it forgets you ever had that field upgrade and won't refill a new one for you, if that makes sense

Question: Could you have maximized your time in zone in the last clip if you didn't instantly equip the gas masks, let your health get chunked by the zone, and then put them on, letting your health regenerate and giving you a few extra seconds between each gasmask swap? Or am I missing something?
