For anyone looking to avoid those dangerous chain grabs: if you don't know the break, just pick a button (1 or 2) and mash JUST THAT ONE BUTTON. If you're lucky you'll break out after the 2nd or 3rd transition, worst case youll break right before the big damage ender. Don't neglect to go into practice or replay and look at what the BIG grab breaks are (muscle buster, giant swing, RDC, etc) and learn those specifically since those are the ones you'll see the most.

The 3 low kicks is d3+4, 4, 4. If you get a counter-hit, it hits 5 times. There's also that punch out of it with 2 somewhere in the combo.

Love the vid bro. Great energy and great to see someone else having as much fun as me getting their ass kicked. As far as getting into heat goes a great way is work it into your combo. On the first bounce hit the heat button and you will get another bounce to continue the chain and u can end with your splash! Lol. Look in the move list aswell because there are moves and mini combos that if they land will put you straight into heat without eating ANY of your heat bar.

Some basic king hints for ya Doto: Down+Back+grab= ground grabs Down+grab=crouch grabs Down+Forward+both kicks=Frankensteiner if you knock someone in the air and instinctively start doing 1 2 punches, try following up with back 2 then 1 and that should lead to a basic set up for running air grab do lots of shin stomp no one sees it coming I haven't played tekken 8 yet so hopefully most of this is still true. Long live the King Baby!

If you want to disable special style activation. Unbind it from the controller settings. Binding 1+3 (which is your standing heat activation command as well), 2+4, 1+2 and 3+4 will also help a lot too. For breaking throws, generic throws are broken with either 1 or 2. Specific command throws are broken with either 1, 2 or 1+2. The tell is whichever arm is used to grab you. Though it is also shown in the command list what button is needed to break. You also aren't getting the running grab because you need to hold the third forward input a little longer. If you are ever curious how to beat something. Check the replays out as well. It will literally let you play those sections out and tell you if something is punishable and if you were thrown how to break it. Good stuff though Doto. Lot of stuff to learn and I am right there with ya. In terms of punishments. 10, 12 and 15 frames (for the most part) are your primary punishments opportunity. Learn those and you will be golden. Nice! King is my main. I just love wresting when I was a kid so when I saw this mofo, I instantly main him lmao! The only problem with King is his pokes. His pokes are not as flexible as others and has very few mixups in tekken 7. I'm not so sure if they added more variety here on 8. A tip for you mate. You can grab + down arrow(crouch). Doing that will make you grab players on the ground and can dish more damage as follow ups if done correctly. Anyway, have fun using King haha. 💪👑

just a lil tip for the running grab: instead of running, you can do it by tapping forwards three times, im pretty sure you can also buffer the first forward. When you can do it fast enough, you can even do it right infront of your opponent (also the double low kick is done by down and both kicks and then mash right kick. It is not a natural combo tho, so the second hit is blockable even if the first connects)

The best use of heat is extending huge combos or doing a launch/combo into the universal heat move. Kings does so much damage. You should use your heat every round, though, for sure
