I am so happy about this! Bird simulator was one of my favorite games on Roblox and I've been wonder what happened to it. Its sad that it was abandoned but also very exciting that the concept was picked up by someone else! my favorite aspect of the game was its flight mechanics so I'm very excited to see how Skyven handles them! I used to play Bird Simulator a whole lot as a kid. Even when you first showed the flight of Skyven and some other controls it seemed very familiar; it all makes sense now. I sat down and played Skyven for about two hours late at night, in a tiny server hiding in a corner because there’s no private servers. Raised two sparrow chicks, unlocked hoopoe and cardinal, and I really enjoyed the chill atmosphere (although finding worms for the chicks can be stressful; word of advice, nest on a small island with water, if you’re alone it only loads in the general area around you so a small island means less space and therefore more food spawns are loaded in, it’s how I raised two chicks solo as living on a giant redwood island cluster spawned barely any food since it was all unloaded) I probably wouldn’t play it multiple times per day since it’s very much designed to be a time-sink game like the original was and I am not someone who plays a single game for hours on end without standing up to stretch, but if I need something chill, especially since so many other Roblox survival games are either dead or frustrating, Skyven will be my first pick c:

@@chonkpenguino9179 Yeah both Sakura and Grasslands are very good for nesting, I know that now. Grasslands is second best since there’s very few hiding spots, but Sakura tends to be super far away and has all the resources needed for nesting, so it is indeed perfect

I found this game a few weeks ago. It INSTANTLY hit me as an homage of sorts to Bird Simulator. I loved that game even after it only had a few people playing it. Needless to say, it's been basically the only game I've played for like a week. I'm so glad it's getting more popular, Amos totally deserves it for such a wonderful game

I gotta agree, Skyven has passed my favourite bird game, feather family, or smth. The quality, space, actual living birds, features, actual modes fkr survival and stuff, its just amazing. Skyven is absolutely amazing, i played jt yesterday bc i was bored, and i just realised about it, and im like, "woah, this game is sick af!" It's perfect for edits, too, especially with shaders on. It would be absolutely amazing with shaders. I added the game to my favourites bc everything is just perfect, but i may ge a bit ehh with the prices. It's still amazing, tho. Prices don't change anything. it's just how amazing the game is. And with my perspective, def a 10/10. More people should play it. Underrated af.

I have multiple things to say! 1. Another AWESOME underrated game which I sadly think is abandoned now is Tails and Talons. It is like WoF, but better. I wonder if more people played it would start getting development again. It was a new game, practically a few months old at its peak. 2. I dream of creating a game like Skyven or the previously mentioned Tails and Talons. One with no p2w features, and that is engaging. I loved and still love, yet to a lesser extent, Creatures of Sonaria yet hate its p2w nature. A spiritual successor to that game, and the better Malgamation’s Island. A game with an RP and Survival mode. Yet I have no coding experience ;-;

I just played this game for the first time yesterday and I really didn't expected it to be spectacular or anything but here I am now in the present still gobsmacked looking at the scenery, the vast different biomes and how the sunset shines brightly with orange and purple hues with clouds surrounding the island. The simple yet relaxing style and simple bird game mechanics are soo very refreshing as an avid player of roleplay games(Feather family) and pvp survival games. The first game that instantly puts my mind at ease when looking at the beatiful sunset infront of me but honestly the only times I was actually stressed doing is taking care of the hatchlings, having to take care of chicks for 40 minutes for them to vanish and give me a lvl/s and a few coins set me off abit since I've spent 40 minutes taking care of it and kinda disappointed to see no animation where it flies off to go in search for its own journey after leaving the nest amd when my chicks die from starvation as me and my little sister scrambled to find any bugs or worms to feed it or my nest despawns as my chicks were above half its age bar :'( R.I.P. to Jimmy, Jimmy#2, Timmy, and Pasta linguini, Remmy, and Gago, Gagi, and Balut. Who died by either starvation or nest despawning(idk if the nest despawned or someone pecked my damn nest while i was away) BUT EITHER WAY. I AM REALLY HAPPY THAT I CAME ACROSSED THIS GAME IN MY RECOMMEND SECTION. >:[D (Btw sorry if there's any Grammar mistakes, English isn't my first language :'[( )

im so glad u covered Skyven, i found it a week or two ago and ive been HOOKED. bird simulator was my childhood game, and i would check back on it every few years or so, and every time it made me more sad to see it slowly collecting dust. I remember when i played it and people spam called so much, i made a good few friends from it. i remember there being music i think, but when i play now its gone, so either it couldnt keep up with the roblox updates or it never existed at all and it was just my imagination. when i found skyven i immediately thought of bird simulator, before i even read that it was inspired by it. skyven is so underrated still and im glad ur shedding light on its existence, i myself tried to with a short edit but it barely gained any attention. also personal note: i found the game when it was at 8k likes, on the 15th of december i think. it had a average of 100 players. as of right now it has 9k likes and an average of 800 players. Thank you Skyven, for bringing back me and many others childhood game that we can still enjoy as we grow older. And thank you Bird Simulator, for all the memories and for the inspiration of many others.

This game is amazing! The lighting and backgrounds are very beautiful, and the birds are soo cute ! I played for a bit and I really like it so far! Only small thing I don't like is how slow the moving screen is, but that doesn't take anything away from it to me ^_^ Also, just asking, do you ever plan on returning to Warrior Cats: Ultimate Edition? It was my favorite game you played a while ago, and it just came to mind after rewatching your old videos! :3

There is an adventure mode which could be used for roleplay, but I haven’t seen any rpers in my time playing. You can die from insomnia, crash landings, and PvP And when chicks grow up they leave you forever…,

I've wanted a game like this for so many years. I remember one of the first games I played on roblox (when i was new-ish) was bird simulator, the one made by avian skies. At the time, it was the only "good" bird game. But even back then while the machnics were amazing, I wished they could add SO much more to the game. AND FINALLY! here is a proper successor to the game concept! I'll be so happy to try this game out when i can!

This is the sequel to bird simulator, which is a game created in 2015, its models werent that good and there was barely any animations but it was fun regardless, like i said Skyven is a spiritual sequel to bird simulator, with better mechanics and more survival based.

I found skyven like a week ago, and i highly suggest playing it. Its wonderful, and really relaxing, as it is not to complex, and easy to learn. Also, as a lot of people are saying, the flying mechanics are amazing. Though, i suggest finding a smaller server and a small island with a pond if you plan on nesting.
