I chose Sprigatito as my partner for the research. I have gotten a 96% Fuecoco, 93% Sprigatito, and still looking for a good Quaxly. Also used my daily adventure incense and got an articuno which I used my master ball on. This event has started off great. It makes me actually want to grind. Good luck with the shiny lechonk hunt. ✌️

Just so you know for future releases, if you quick-catch a Pokémon you dont have registered, you can skip the dex entry page. That way you can catch, catch, and catch, but not actually get the dex entry animation/screenshot until you get the shiny.

I caught a random shundo Buizel and have already gained 7 million XP and 700,000 Stardust during this event. I’ve seen a few videos saying it’s bad compared to previous Ultra Unlocks, but personally I think any event with insane Stardust and XP bonuses is automatically a phenomenal event.

Knew this event was coming as well. Still fun to see the Paldean starters and Lechonk already. The rewards in the events are great and do need to get some grinding in with these. I got a 96 and 98% (if I recall correct Lechonk one male one female. No shinies yet. Also hunting for the Houndour shiny and hopefully good IV's. Wouldn't mind a Fletchling or Buizel, Shroomish etc as well. As for the starters I am doing good ish, have a few 3* Fuecoco which was my starter in Scarlet as well, so choose him. I got a Sprigatito which one is 3* If I recall correct as well and a XXL one. On the hunt for a Quaxly wit decent high IV's for the evolution line.

Got the Hundo lechonk, then later a shiny buizel, and BACK TO BACK got the shiny lechonk. Now I just need hopefully a shiny unown L, and a shiny fletchling. 😎😎✨✨

I chose Fuecoco as my partner in the special research in pokemon go since it's going to be Halloween season soon enough besides I chose Sprigatito as my starter in pokemon violet I've kept it on my team for my whole playthrough I'm completely done with post game and in pokemon scarlet I chose Quaxly as my starter and like with pokemon violet it has been on team I'm currently in post game so in these games I've got the final evolution of Sprigatito and Quaxly as for when I will evolve my partner in pokemon go it will probably be closer to Halloween season

I got a shiny Wooper first thing this morning, then I got the shiny Lechonk right off the bat from the research, then I went for a walk and got shiny weasel at the beginning of my walk. Other than global go fest I have never caught three shines in one day.

Oddly enough, I just got that glitch where your trainer is completely in darkness right before I watched this video. I chose Fuecoco as my partner for the research. It's easily my favorite of the Paldea starters, but all of their designs are just so good too. Fuecoco is just adorable and it was the starter I chose in Scarlet. It turned out to be a two star Fuecoco, but it was the first one I caught, so I'm still happy about it. I hope that I can get the Paldea starters with good stats during the event. I haven't had any luck with Shiny Lechonk though.

Played the event for 2 hours today, fully egged, fully starpieced. around 400 catches, 1.9M XP and 250k stardust. Also 1 hoppip shiny and one buizel. Shinies seem like they are at a decent boost.
