What an overreaction 😂 This offense is absolute garbage and this team is a product of a bad division right now. The pitching is elite but it has been for years. This team CANNOT HIT, especially at home. And they will do absolutely nothing at the deadline. I don’t know why people keep bringing that up.

They’d get smoked by Baltimore or New York because they can’t score before the 7th more than half the time. They’re not good enough offensively and they’ll do nothing about that at the deadline.

Last season, their September sucked, but they were 21-6 in August (Seattle's best month in their history) and 17-9 in July. Their winning percentages have been higher after the All-Star break every season since 2021.

On this day last year they were 34-34. The rest of the way they were 54-40. They don't choke. They die trying to dig themselves out of the grave they dug themselves in april and may. They usually get hot right about now. They didn't dig themselves a grave this year. They tried, but the rest of the division was digging harder.

Yes they are the bottom of the division in so many catagories but if you have been paying attention the things they do well is battle, get the pitch count up for the opposing pitcher, score a couple runs and then get into the bullpen which is where they do their damage. They have won 15 of their last 21 games, They are 17-5 in the AL West, Crawfish is leading the AL in feilding pct at .994, Julio is hitting .305 and an ops of .804 over his last 22 games w/ 2 homers in his last 4 games. The starting rotation leads all of baseball in quality starts, and much more. Offense is not necessarily a premium with this team. They lead MLB in 1 run games. They have the second best record in baseball at home. They are on to something.
