-Its an input move -small range/hitbox -doesnt kill as well as Kazuya's other options that have similar range (demon god fist into dragon uppercut, electric into up b or up smash) -doesnt do a lot of dmg compared to other options, -long animation(easily punishable by fast characters)

In Tekken it's one hell of a mixup option, but in Smash it unfortunately can be blocked universally. 😅 Imagine if you had to shield block low for the first hit?

Whether or not you make it in competition depends a lot more on your own personal motivation, mentality, and time spent on it than how far along it is in the meta.
