Beautiful piece! Through a friend of mine, he borrowed my Roland C-330 for a concert (no organ in the building) while in NJ a few years back. Heard good things about him. This proves it!

Beautiful!! I love how the melody is introduced over the shimmering strings of Nancy at first, and then such a feast of color and variety through. What a well-written piece; and of course a super performance as always!! I am looking forward to the publications!!!

This should become a new church classic , if the composer approves of course! I take my hat of to you Alejandro Consolacion🎩 💐(se description), wonderfully composed! Also beautifully played by Richard!👏👏

That was a beautiful performance! The music is for the most part ethereal and serene, with that majestic passage to contrast. Thanks to Alejandro Consolacion for this fine piece. I look forward to the publication of this and the other compositions you received. And an album would be most welcome!

Really wonderful Richard, I like the strings of this instrument a lot! Well done to Alejandro for a wonderful composition. I love how you chose not to have a 'clean' recording but include the tracker noise too!

Yes, it's a stunningly beautiful composition which I came across just over a year ago. Unfortunately I had to abridge it for where it was needed during a mass, leaving out the louder sections. My copy is also in F sharp major however there is recording of the composer playing it on KZbin in F major.

This is absolutely wonderful! I think six sharps would scare me too much to try and play this, though - I am in the Guinness Book of Records for being the World's Worst Organist, after all...

It is nice to listen at. But may I not share your enthusiasm? Yes it is a nice rendering of the plain chant. But there is nothing new about this type of music. It exists since Dupré or Duruflé. Vierne was all ready much farer in the evolution of organ music, not to speak of Messiaen, Escaich ,Guillou. , Glass and others. Please excuse my open speaking. I

I don't disagree about your comments about this not being a new 'type' of music. You are right - it does exist in the French school of organ music already, but my point is this - are there any pieces in this French school of organ music which are based on 'Ubi caritas' which are as good as this particular piece?
@jeanzahlen23693 жыл бұрын
@@beautyinsound of course there aren‘t many works for organ solo in literature. I know some for choir or choir and organ, but indeed you make a point . Thank you for your answer
