Some really nice stuff here, Dimitris. It's too bad that young people today seem mostly to not realize what good medicine old-school blues is for the soul -- because if ever there was a time such blues music was needed, it's now in 2016. Definitely some good medicine here!

If it helps my son, (I'm 58) he has been getting into all my stax, rock, reggae, blues and has them all on his strange little ear bud tech, from 10 to now (28) he has been disappointed with the more modern rock and genres, yet loves the same old school, yet especially rock until more recently I showed him where those songs came from, including YOU NEED LOVE (now WHOLE LOTTA LOVE, quality rock acrobatics indeed,) and I have him going on impact versus grandeur, light shows and how much noise or how many notes can be hit- Hendrix we both regard as blues ahead of evolution and Jimi once asked Mitch Mitchel, "Can you feel me." and Mitchel shook his head, puzzled, so Jimi reached over the dark tavern table, slapped his face, -Mitchell said "don't you ever touch me again." Jimi: "I will always touch you." So true, as with everyone from Tampa Red to Buddy Guy, Tinsley Ellis and the Allisons, we love it all, as with movies now, tired of seeing CGI video games, we want to feel with the characters, and identify, music being such the same. Aw damn, Dimitris, you really have my taste, yet many you have found for us, buried treasures, I only wish they had the chance, to be better known and time will tell, tempis fugit, commoda feralis, time flies, achieve naturally- time will show these songs by far outlast all our beloved hair bands, I need a haircut, I was in the woods, jamming in the storm, all the rain and roads washed out, it is chaos here in this refugee state. I write fast, reflex so I apologize, for that, again though we appreciate you and your compilations have given me a new list to buy, support the artists, and my son he will surely put these on his techie stuff. I still repair my computer with duct tape and a hammer. Makes a great sound.... please keep doing what you do, and I'll listen loyal and in multiples, hmm, multiples- that's what she said, chained me to a bed, don't suppose y'all got a hacksaw in a cake, or at least some Mezcal, I have friends here in Black Bottom, our wine ferments in the tub, our grain we make it in the woods, have our still, next to the garden of 420. Got gum? Chew know wutamean? The Joy of Wilder medicine, see I do pay attention. Fuse is lit and gotta run, when the spark it hits, she won't let me up until she's done at least 3 times, s'ok though, I love that Gypsy woman, she conjures and chants... it turns me on. Am I still writing? Oh damn. I'm, in., further in, way in, can't get out until it's done. Got game? Then y'all know what I mean. Run and gun... with appreciation.
