There were actual so-called Dolphins fans who complained that Mike McDaniel looked too much like a nerd and wouldn't get the respect from players. They said that they wanted a coach who was muscular and tough. Just so you know, these are some of the same idiots who had nothing but negativity when it came to Tua Tagovailoa as the QB for the Dolphins. I am so happy that we have both the best Coach and QB in the NFL these past 2 seasons.

I've been a Dolphin fan since 1971 I think Mike is a outstanding offensive coordinator fixing up schemes for the players that he has I really hope I eat my words excellent offensive coordinator but it's one thing to be offensive coordinator and it's a other thing to be a head coach I don't know if he has got that part of the job down to a science like he does coordinating plays but I sure hope he's working on it I'm not completely sold on his head coach strategy but I could be completely wrong which I hope I am God bless our dolphins let's make them Champions once again champions of the world I'd really like to see that good luck to the team the coaches and the fans

Realistically the way he is only works if the team is mostly good. Which as a whole the season so far has been successful. Stick him on a mediocre/bad team and his actions come as immature and not giving a shit and he's fire within 4 weeks. However the dolphins are good (although struggle against better teams, they are talent wise good) So the way he acts gets far more rope then it would otherwise. He amuses me, but even dolphin fans wouldn't be hyped about him if they were shit and he was still coming off as the sarcastic I don't feel like being here sorta high school/ frat kid.
