Japan has been making "find the cheese in this speedrun" levels for years, so it's somewhat frustrating seeing so many Mario Maker youtubers still not realize it's a thing, and it's intended. I get that they can't necessarily read the ずる in the title, but I'd kind of hope that once they saw such obvious cheese they'd remember it's a thing that Japanese creators do. But at least he still had fun with it. I've seen others criticize such levels for being badly made and leaving such major cheese in, or for having a "secret dev route".

I really appreciate Ryu's honesty about getting tired of kaizo-trick levels! As a viewer of many Maker players, I feel like advanced kaizo tricks are mediocre content. A shell jump or reclaim or Pow drop don't provide much excitement to watch anymore. You know exactly what a successful attempt will look like, so it doesn't feel that cool when it happens. A Kaizo trick level can single handedly ruin a live stream, as the player gets sucked into landing consecutive shell tricks while the viewers crave variety and seeing actual platforming. I think it's time Kaizo went back to being hard creative platforming!
