I think these mobile medium and lighter Vehicles will be key in the counteroffensive. Everybody is looking at the tanks they are getting but the Cv90, Amx10, bradleys , marder etc .. are high tech very cwpable modern equipment. The Ukrainians have so much more to lose and to fight for..

How would it handle a LAW, TOW, NLAW??
@timothygoodwin3287 Жыл бұрын
they wouldn't end up going against such weapons since they are allied weapons or from the nation that built them (Swedish NLAW). But against ATGMs in general probably not to well. being lightly armored except for modular armor they don't offer to much protection so best not to get hit

While I love your videos, I find it frustrating when tanks or howitzers don’t carry flags or markings that allow the viewer to discern the Ukrainian hardware from the Russians, unless a Z is painted on the machine. Can you caption or subtitle what nationality each vehicle or weapon is?

@calle7789 Жыл бұрын
@@Sam_Guevenne Yes we do. The swedish are sending them and we only use the Mk0 (Strf 9040)
@tessjuel Жыл бұрын
@@calle7789 I don't think there are any Mk0 CV90s anymore, they've all been upgraded. The video is a bit confused about the different vesions of the CV90 but that's fair enough since it is rather confusing. The Mk number 0, I, II, III, IV and the upcoming V signify how modernized the vehicle is - different engines, different armor protection etc., etc. but it has nothing to do with which gun it has. In theory any Mk can be equipped with a 30, 35, 40 or even 105 or 120 mm gun although of course only a few combinations actually exist. Anyway, the CV90 variants Sweden has are CV9040A, CV9040B, CV9040B1, CV9040C and CV9040C+ (or to use the international MK designations: MkI to III+) with a 40 mm Bofors cannon. Apparently the ones sent to Ukraine will be the most modern they have, that is Mk III and III+ standard. Norway is also considering sending CV90s to Ukraine, apparently they haven't decided yet (or they keep it a secret). If they do, those will be CV9030 MkIIIb, slightly upgraded MkIII standard with a 30 mm Bushmaster II gun. (Btw, it may seem strange that Norway chose a smaller gun than any of the other CV90 operators but a smaller gun means there's room for much more ammunition inside the vehicle so it can keep on firing for much longer.)
