Actually they gave us the wheel, we paid for the repairs on ours and they did a straight swap. Apart from the broken spokes the wheel had less mileage than the one they gave us.

I once dropped my previous motorcycle, BMW R1200RT, while walking. It was not possible to get the motorcycle back upright and I did not want to drop it but put it down in a controlled manner because of the side cases. Due to the force I had to use, I bruised my ribs, could hardly breathe and suffered for a year and a half. I will never walk with such a heavy motorcycle again, not even the FJR1300 that I have now. And... now you know Brian... NEVER EVER drop Carolynes bike! You'll regret it for the rest of you (night) life 😉
