This Is The Face of ALS - Anne

This is Anne. She shared her story with us for our This Is The Face of ALS project. Anne is originally from Colombia and mom to Elijah, “the love of her life.” She’s very passionate about helping people and worked in the medical field for 10 years before ALS “took that away” from her. Anne has found spirituality and a closeness to God. She believes that through this test, “we become stronger and more vulnerable so we can help the rest of humanity.” She also has been making hip-hop music since she was 17 and continues now even though the disease has affected her voice.
