The autumnal hues washed by the rain ( last rains as per tradition ) made me re-read the 3 (three) stanzas of the Ode to Autumn by John Keats and see how many words of his ode could be picked ( gleaned which is a word in the ode ) to resonate with the vista presented in your video. So here goes.................... " Season of ............. mellow fruitfulness ......................maturing sun ..................to load and bless With fruit ............................... And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core To swell with gourd................ With a sweet kernel, to set budding more And still more, later flowers for the bees Until they think warm days will never cease For summer has o'er-brimmed Who hath not seen thee amid thy store ? And last but not the least, the plaintive tunes of the Murithai reminded me of the same, which as a child in the 1960's, heard from the neighbouring hills of Dibarai, from early morning to late night in the month every January.
