Japan, known as the Land of the Rising Sun or the Land of Sakura, is one of the oldest countries in the world that is famous for its history, politics, and culture. This island nation has an area of 378,000 km², with a population of 123.6 million, of which around 76.6 million people or the majority of 62% of the population declare themselves non-religious or Agnostic.
Currently, Japan is known to be one of the most advanced countries, with the 4th largest economy in the world after the United States, China and Germany. Behind its success, the country led by Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is quite open to religious practices in its country, including Islam.
This freedom of religion is one of the factors that supports the spread of Islam in Japan. Proven in its development, the entry of Islam in Japan did not encounter significant rejection or cultural clashes. In fact, the number of Muslims in Japan has increased significantly, in just a few years, where at least more than 10 Japanese convert to Islam every day.
