This is more like a graphic novel with manga art. I wish it could be read from right to left like actual manga

I loved the manga since I was 10. It's simply amazing and I personally enjoyed it a LOT.

I saw there was more than one manga bible, so thank you for checking this one out and showing us what it looked like inside.

I'm a massive fan of Siku's work on the bible, having grown up on 2000ad as a kid in the UK. He did a period (i think 10 years as the Judge Dredd artist). He's also done 3 books called Manga Jesus which is a great take on the gospels. Very creative, talented guy, greatly respected in the comic artwork world. He's got a new book out called 'My Theology: Batman is Jesus' which explains his approach to theology. It's out in the UK and releases worldwide in August. I've just ordered a copy and looking at the Amazon 'Look inside' it appears the 'Batman is Jesus' has some lush colour artwork to enjoy within its covers.

the art looks so exotic, very beautiful, but even being bigger than the other this still looks kinda small

Yeah, The Manga Bible Series appears to still be the most complete option out there.

Thanks for exploring these books and showing the differences. Either one will ultimately instruct the reader about the Bible which is top priority.

I think the artwork is jarring and too busy to be looked at, even I couldn't make up what's happening from the thumbnail drawings and panelling. It reminds me of the knockoff comic done by non-Japanese but branded as "manga" from early 2000s. I was expecting the intricate details and selective simplification in the line art that are common in what a Japanese mangaka (illustrator/cartoonist) would've done due to their early training of writing strokes in Japanese writings. Sorry for being too technical. :DD
