This is the missing piece for foiling set ups - Axis does it again

Axis are always coming out with great gear and I'm a super fan. The advance fuse went a little under the radar when it came out but I think it's when of the best additions to their line up for Prone surfers.
Loosens up your set up and is a big benefit for bigger wings.

Hey bro, good to meet you the other day at the Bluff! 👍 To your vids and good to have seen I'm on the exact same setup you had on the day bar the board. Oh and don't let those old boys on logs get ya down and ruin your sessions, I get it every other time from them too, usually I just blast them back too and they quickly shit themselves and back off (PS I'm like you, sit well wide of surfers etc......more for my own safety from those logs dropping in on everything and everyone 😂😂)

Hi Dave ! thanks for sharing this review. Were you already riding the Crazyshort normal fuselage before you get that advanced Crazy short ? I'm on the Ultrashort (normal/old one) and would like to switch to an advanced one with my 999 and progressive 325 or 300. What are your Thoughts ? I'm 60 kg 🐥

Hi Hadou, You could easily be on a 999 with a 300 or so - at your weight maybe even the 899 if you're experienced enough. In regards to the fuse - crazyshort is actually about the industry standard fuse length so i'd happily do across to that and get the advanced at the same time.

Hello Dave -- nice video. I have the red Short fuselage and the black Crazyshort fuselage. I would like to get one of the Advance fuselages. Would you recommend the Advance Crazyshort or Sillyshort? I'm 65kg. I have PNG 1150, PNG 910b and ART 899 front wings along with 460 flat pump and 350 progressive rear wings. I do a lot of wake foiling and flat water pumping, kite foiling and eFoiling. Just started wing foiling and prone foiling.

Hey mate! The only two downsides to the advance fuse is that your pump cadence has to be quicker and it's more pitch sensitive. So if you're happy with those trade offs you'll get a more surfy feel for sure.

@@davewestfoils Heh. That's more or less what I use for winging. But I'm sitting here pondering ordering a 60 or 70-ish, for prone because I'm afraid of hitting the shallows. lol

@@davewestfoils Oh, BTW, I've been riding the Advance Crazyshort as well... with a HPS930 / 375P. I also have a similar Fanatic. I couldn't tell the size of yours there, but mine is the 5'2" 85L. I'm actually riding it close to the back of the track. But I appear to be lighter (82kg), not to mention I hear the ART wings like to be a little more forward.
