Great video! I used to live in San Diego and have been to BGC several times. BGC is the place to be! Kinda like a micro version of Manhattan, but much cleaner and safer. The cost-of-living is much lower than San Diego, yet has all the modern amenities. SD has the edge when it comes to weather, but it's much easier to live in BGC... no need to own a vehicle. You'll probably miss SD's amazing Mexican food.

You should also visit up and coming BGC like areas.....(Bridgetowne, Parklinks, Arcovia, Arca South) and some others, just within Metro Manila.....Nuvali is in Sta. Rosa, Laguna while Clark Global City is in Pampanga/Tarlac location.....

Bonifacio Global City is clean and modern. But please be realistic, this district in Taguig doesn't represent most of Metro Manila. It's a bubble. You definitely won't find safety and cleanliness outside of it. Also in Asia, Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok are in a different levels.

Yes it isn't a component city but it's size is comparable to the smallest city in the Philippines (San Juan). BGC + BGC South (McKinley Hill, McKinley West, Lawton) is 400 hectares (550 if you include the MAC and MGCC parks. For comparison, San Juan City is 595 hectares.

That's because those cities you mentioned have a higher pay scale than the Philippines. This gives the Philippines a perception of a 3rd world country. Some of it true though, if we here in the Philippines have a comparable pay scale than that of US, non of us would leave the country and the country itself would prosper economically and get the respect it needs. How do you make it competitive? Train and educate its people so they have higher earning potential and be competitive in the market and we start harnessing our own domestic industries like Korea has done.

Truth is , the urban plan for metro manila is advanced and global during it's time..this is the vision of FEM. the blue print of urban planning for manila is futuristic UNTIL FEM WAS OUSTED.... The EDSA WAS PLANNED AND SUPPORTED BY MALAYSIA ( the one's who helped ninoy get to Philippines to create a coup) If you want to visualise what manila was supposed to be just look at Singapore... Most of the first architects and engineers of Singapore and Dubai are FILIPINOS. The Filipinos are the most sought after professionals around 80's and 70's -- the minds behind the blue print of the supposed to be manila... Go ahead i dare you find the old Filipino architects and engineers that help pioneered Singapore and the middle east
