Thank you for the tour. It is indeed a beautiful place. I visited in July 2023 from the US. My cousins live on Corfu Island and they took me everywhere. I went to Porto Katsiki and Egrimi beaches and it is breathtaking. I stayed in Lefkada town in an older home. Would have preferred staying in the outskirts of the town. Loved eating dinner on the waterfront watching the sunsets. Will return someday. 😊

nice video! Although I have never been to Lefkada yet, I've watched many videos about it, I think it is really stunning and would top most places I have visited in Greece. However, my favourite island is Kefalonia which I have been to three time in a row in mid/late september from 2020. It has a wider variety in terms of views, beaches, places to explore and things to do. Both islands are so chill. One thing I like Lefkada better is that it is connected with the mainland which saves quite a lot money and time on transportation, also maybe more comfortable. I used to feel sick on the ferry.😅 you guys are so sweet, I want this kind of simple life, too.

The video will be launched in the next weeks 😜 as you said, it is super comfy to be able to drive directly to the island and there are more interesting restaurants on Lefkada. Therefore, we liked it a bit more. But Kefalonia is also amazing 😍

@@FeedingFoca I'm excieted about the video of Kefalonia.😄 I'm not a fan of Santorini at all. The vibe on Ionian Islands is just different, it's more tranquil, except Zakynthos since it's more of a party island and the shipwreck do look breathtaking ( I visited Zakynthos in early october 2020 ), it has become crowded. One big advantage of travelling Ionian Islands is the budget friendly price, mainly the accommodation. In Kefalonia, I have stayed not only alone in a studio or small apartment by paying less than 30 euro per night but also in a very well equipped, spacious and comfortable villa which costed me and my friends (8 people) average 33 euro per person per night.🥰

We are happy that places like Lefkada and Kefalonia still exist and you can have a chill vibe and the authenic Greek experience 😊 Zakynthos and Corfu are both kind of busy already unfortunately. And we are happy that you also had great experiences on Kefalonia. It is just a dream 😍

I’ve been to kefalonia twice and loved it and just returned from corfu, Paxos and AntiPaxos so I’ve been looking at lefkada for my next trip… the algorithm must be working as your video popped up this morning 😂. You’re convincing me it’s definitely worth a visit … what time of year did you go? The beaches look very quiet!!

It's definitely worth a visit! The cliffs and beaches are simply incredible! 😍 We stayed there for a few weeks in May/June, just before the season started.

Yes it was such a good deal, we really loved the place. It's called Aristea Apartments, near Nikiana. Super comfy beds and lovely owners. 😊 We booked it through Booking, I guess the prices in would be a bit higher, it's this one: www.booking.com/Share-zHoDENX

Unfortunately, we did not find a lot of accommodation with washing machine in our price segment. But probably you can find some in higher price ranges :)

Greeces flag is blue for the blue sky and sea and white for the intense light that comes from the sun and.......... the poeple. And the cros as it is an orthodox cristian land. That means more light 😀
