i have also found that wave of nostalgia is best used as a CC tool, trading optimally BEFORE using Wave is optimal, due to the evolve not having any specific parameters, dont wanna accidentally give em 3 deathwings.

I love wild deck ideas but the fact Murloc busts up your hand is very painful. I did meme around with Whelp Wrangler and Saxophone Soloist / other 1 drop generators, mainly because Azerite Murloc + Shudderblock + a couple 1 costs on board and suddenly they're huge. Problem I faced ended up being even if you get the dream going you're either (a) dead already or (b) they just instantly wipe it

I tried playing evolve excavate shaman with Baroness Vashj when she was in Standard (plus other evolve cards) and nope - still terrible. And since her effect works only when she's on board, Azerite Murloc just transforms her into 7 cost minion if she's anywhere else, zero synergy at all. Azerite Murloc should be reworked completely. I've seen a suggestion for something like "Battlecry: For the rest of the game, at the end of your turn transform your minions into ones that cost (1) more." That will help to keep your hand and deck unchanged, so you can still utilize your remaining minions AND it will affect any other that you summon (let's say from Once Upon a Time...).

I think for the excave build its better to use cards like Firefly 1 1/2 add a 1 mana dork to your hand is better. (1mana 4 cost creatue after treasure is dope) (5mana 8 cost is ass)Now wave is more of a content card/win more card. You usually will needed a board to win with it. Yeah the deck is pretty bad lol.

Problem is with Shudderblock, any buffs or rework for shaman’s excavate reward would probably be too powerful/consistent. Azerite Murloc had to die so that Shudderblock could be printed. Thanks for the video and suffering you went through Clark.
