V6 is standard on the Gladiator and only the people who have problems complain, so you never hear about how reliable they actually are because MOST owners are just enjoying the ride. Proud 2024 Wrangler Rubicon owner.

I work for a rental company. Are worst cars for reliability are the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, Jeep Wrangler Hybrid, Chevy suburban, and unfortunately we just got three 2025 Mazda CX90s and all three of them broke down within 300 or less miles.

@peachyclean93 surprisingly no, The Rav 4, Tacoma, Highlanders, and Sienna all perform really well. The Tacomas in particular, are staples for customers and us. Although, all but two of our Tundras exploded or had major engine issues.

Toyota is also the #1 auto manufacturer in the world. So it makes sense you see more of those, they have the most cars on the road. Jeep doesn’t even come close in sales, and you never see them because they’re stuck in a field or on a mountain somewhere, left to die.

My wife had Hondas forever and she always has stupid issues with them. Not the engine but other shit just not working, so annoying. Key fob sensor, gas sensor, window wiper motor, window wiper fluid motor, heat not working all on new leases. Crv x2 and a civic.

As a gladiator owner who has the manual transmission, do not, I repeat, DO NOT buy one with the manual transmission. There is an electrical issue that falsely indicates overheating of the clutch, and Jeep dealers have no fix for this other than a recall to replace the clutch which doesn't solve the problem. Do your research. For me, the issue is intermittent and does correct itself after a day or 2. Aside from that, I love it.
