Hey! Thank you so much for the feedback, really appreciated. I would use the Gates package now yes. I did review the gates stuff in the other video, but I also get that the opening build runs a Neos package. Just swap the Neos stuff for the Gates stuff and you're good to go really. I've been seeing success with at least two Gates, two Beckoning, but increasing those ratios doesn't hurt.

It so happens that the more popular a deck is, the less interested I am for it (Except Lab, which can unite fiends & trap decks under the same banner), thus, like another comment asked: How many minutes till "Yubarchfiend" takes the spotlight? And a bit of advice too: Made a deck that focuses on Ccapac Apu for current event (Field of choice was Palabyrinth, sorry General), Empress & Call of Archfiends, through as many milling options as possible (Void Apocalypse, Rhino, & Glitch are obvious, but included odd ones like Needlebug, Fiendish griefing and even Toddler, distant cousin of my Tindangles)... So, did I miss an option or two? Or what could be your tech? Have a good one, and keep the "Fiendish portrait" clean and tidy

I definitely need to showcase an Archfiend Yubel variant. It's on its way, as are the Summoned Skull Master Duel climbs Ccapac Apu is a bit of a throwback! I'd say you're already covering the best milling options. Foolish Burial springs to mind. I guess you could run Dante too? Peaceful Burial is a trap version of Foolish but it's not that good

I was wondering if you were going to look at yubel. What are your thoughts on nightmare throne and contributing to a fiend pile?

Nightmare Throne and Nightmare Pain paired with the new Squirmer and Tricorn fiends are decent as a splashable fiend package I've found. Pain can pop Archfiends to search Squirmer for essentially a free body, Throne can search both fiends or destroy one, Tricorn can recycle fiends So far I've found climbing into Groza to be useful, with Tricorn recycling Heiress to keep Groza live (gaining us an extra search in the process). I'm still trying things out, but I do like how well the above cards work together (all without normal summon as well). Pandemonium seems to be an obvious choice with all this destruction too

Super strong but it has caused an unnecessary price spike in some core cards like Yama... It's definitely a 1 of minimum but I don't want to see how much it'll cost 😭

It can because there's almost no downside to it. Yubel can be revived from Banishment. So if you've got some spare Allures floating around then feel free to use them. Yubel as a deck does a really good job at tutoring stuff out. Nightmare Pain can search for cards, Throne can search and summon, etc. So eventually you won't need allure, but as a budget option it'll work just fine

How does this deck apply pressure if 1. Our opponent takes the psy-frame deck approach and just simply..does nothing/puts no monsters on board? And 2. How do we win if our opponent puts a 0 defense monster in defense and just sits on it?

Hey! All good questions, definitely valid ones. The quickest way to apply pressure I suppose is to summon Geist Grinder Golem and attack it. You only need to attack it with two Yubels and then overlay into Gustav Max for game. If you don't have access to Geist (I know some lists cut it completely, which I think is a mistake), then you can overlay into Valdrath for damage and disruption. If you have the extra deck space, then you could also run a Zeus package with the likes of Seven Sins etc, to give you a double Zeus wipe. You can also run stuff like Unchained Abomination for extra damage if need be. Geist is the most straightforward way though

In my "Only Yubel Deck Guide You'll Ever Need" video I go over Pre LEDE stuff. I show 3-4 variations you could play but ultimately instead of Throne you play stuff like Pot of Prosperity to dig into the cards you need. The deck is so much stronger post LEDE though, so I don't recommend playing a variant like Horus which will get outdated fast, but something you can easily adjust without too much hassle

I know it'll get better soon but that also means the deck may get more expensive the longer I wait so I'd like to pick up some variant of it while I wait, especially since most of the support is low rarity and already in my local shop lol

Yes 1 Sharvara and Escape does a lot for the deck because it enables Yama for an additional interrupt. Unfortunately Yama has spiked in price again...

Great video quality. Good for beginners, but the list like that raidraptors game 3 is something of a yikes. It'd work for locals, but needs mending to break through a regional length of games and more so for a ycs.

Cause like, it's a cool deck but I'm not really interested in play it unless I can make it an Archfiend variant. My Suppression Pluto Archfiends did pretty well again Yubel players online pretty well so I'm not that sure about investing in a new deck. I remember Yubel pops off self destruction(played Yubel Nephthes in DL back in the day) and Archfiends gets plusses off destruction.

Yubel can work quite well with Archfiends, yeah! I'll have to showcase that soon. Nightmare Pain can pop your Archfiends and if you play Pandemonium then you plus off it, so that's nice. Suppression Pluto is a very cool card!

@@TheArchfiendGuy Thx, but it's actually just your Archfiend deck from a few months ago with a few tribute summoning focused changes to it. Since BA and Kash can summon for free, you can plop down unexplored winds and use big fiends like empress and Pluto to remove monsters. I'm a fan of the GX manga and the planets as ace monsters and Archfiends is the only viable way to play Pluto imo.

I've never been much of a fan of Raidraptors, but from my experience against them, they seem to be Rebellion Falcon Turbo these days Which is strong but gives me a clear choke point to focus on I like how explosive that deck is

Well yes this is a nice video but it doesnt help me, the cards that u use will come out in like 3 months if not longer for the tcg players. It would have been nice to see a current format yubel list. Atm its not the best but it does have potential and can win alot of games by ur opponent not reading.

Atlast a guy who don't copy like a dumb un unchain deck. Replace a map for a mature scroll. Its not efficient to have only one card of those so you must choose. Personnally, map cost is too heavy.

Yeah I've taken out Map now. I agree that it's not optimal, especially when they can just hold their Ash for Lotus anyway 1 Mature Chronicle I think is more than though, but I haven't tested 2 to be honest!

I personally don't like videos like this where it shows "future potential" when we don't know how much the meta will shift when Legacy of destruction is released. I think it would be better to do deep dives into the deck as it is RIGHT NOW so that we can innovate and transfer that knowledge when the new support comes to the TCG. I'm currently playing Yubel and so far it is decent. my opponents have all told me they like what I was doing with the deck since I'm doing combos that haven't been too streamlined on YT yet and they are considering giving Yubel a try this format. my biggest enemy has been time. people don't know the cards that well and don't respect the board it puts up so they still try to break it even if they know they can't win that game.

Fair enough It's three months old but that's because I play with prerelease cards months before their release. I've been playing Yubel for around 5 months now I guess. One of the best Pre LEDE builds currently uses the Gates package, Unchained cards and general consistency cards. So you'd transfer all that over but you'd switch out cards like Pot of Prosperity for Nightmare Throne. The deck isn't too different post LEDE except it's more streamlined. Aside from Super Poly, I'd run around 9 hand traps as well
