Thank you for posting but this cuts off in the middle of a premise, mid sentence, actually mid word - is there a part 2?

These are cuts of Abraham's teachings at events, so of course, they're cut off. I would imagine that the entirety of Abraham's speeches are dispersed throughout all the KZbin videos. Trust that Source shows you the ones you benefit from hearing in the order you hear them!

Ok so around 12:00 when Abraham is talking about quieting your mind for 15 minutes… she says then you come up with a thought and that thought gathers momentum, that’s where i get confused. Aren’t those two different segments of intention? 1.) Quieting the mind, to me, would be not interacting with thoughts and just letting them pass by while focusing on a single sound just to feel good. 2.) And focusing on a good feeling thought to gather more good feeling thoughts is rendezvousing to gather momentum about a subject you want to feel better about. Help me understand if you can someone?? Thanks 🙏

Bc i have a thousand thoughts that pop in my mind that i could run with but then I’d never get around to actually quieting my mind…

I dont like how she words it either. I could be totally wrong, but the way I take it is: meditating puts you in the same vibration of allowance. As you meditate everyday you get more and more in sync with that zen place of feeling good and you can carry it with you longer after meditation and can recall that vibration more and more throughout the day. Eventually you will get so good at reaching for that feeling that you'll be able to hold it the majority of the time and catch yourself from spiraling when undesirable conditions pop up. The more you vibe at that good feeling place, the more you will let in ideas and thoughts from your inner being that lead you to places and people that bring you to the things in your vortex. A generic example could be you really like someone from your past but drifted apart. One day, you are driving around and get the idea to stop for tacos. You walk in, and that person is there eating. The more you practice the art of being happy aka state of allowance you recognize the difference between your random thoughts and inspired ones from your inner being. I apologize if this rambling is way off base and not what you meant ❤

How I interpret it (based off of other conversations where she explains it better (or when I was able to receive it better), meditation does not have to be complex, and sometimes the harder you try, it doesn’t work. By keeping it simple, and focusing on a sound that is continuous, you can get into the zone better. If that doesn’t work, at least focus on good things only, which then builds momentum. The idea isn’t to have no thoughts, but to connect better to your inner being as a jumping off point for the day. I rarely meditate that long. At any given moment in my day, I just focus on breathing and the happiest thought or image that I can. I close my eyes if safe to do so. Humming helps too. It’s calming, and sends signals to your vagus nerve. Hope this helps!
