Jerry Yan came from a very poor family. His father was abusive and hit and kicked the child making him wonder what he did wrong. On top of that the family could barely afford the first child so when Jerry came along they told the child that he was not wanted. Is it any wonder that no matter how handsome and talented he is, he will feel insecure. His father's abuse did this to him. When his father died when he was 12 the family could not pay the rent so they were left homeless. Little Jerry had been working since the age of 10. He lost much of his childhood. That explains why when he was able to afford a proper living he seemed childish. I believe it was because he never had a childhood and only later in life when he could earn money was he able to be free to be happy and enjoy a childhood he had missed.

Cu toata aprecierea mea fata de talentul si munca lui Jerry nu gasesc o scuza comportamentului lui. El desi nu mai este tanar vrea sa fie tanar si nelinistit toata viata . Aceasta viata la varsta lui este distrugatoare din punct de vedere fizic si profesional. Viata care o duce nu are nimic comun cu tatalui , este o fuga incontinua de realitate. Rolul vieti tale este prea mare pentru capacitatea ta de a primi. Toti marii actori frumosi si talentati din lume se foloses de psihogi care i-i indruma in viata lor . Nu e o rusine sa mergi la psiholog , dovedeste ca esti constient ca ai nevoie de ajutor si devine jumatate de problema . Jerry tu iesti intr-o fuga incontinua si nu sti dece , da impresia ca fugi de realitatea pe care o traiesti . Te rog sa ma scuzi ca am incercat sa te ajut i-mi placi mult ca actor si o iubesc pe Tong Liya as fi vrut sa-ti gasesti linistea odata cu venirea copilului pe care i-l ai cu Tong .Acest copil are nevoie de tine ca parinte echilibrat , sant convinsa ca Tong e langa el si-l v-a forma ca om cu picioare pe pamant asa cum este ea.
