The eagle signifies Arthur's high honor when he died. If he died with low honor, you would see a wolf at the grave instead. This also applies to the cutscenes towards the end of the story where you see either the buck (instead of the eagle) or the wolf depending on Arthur's honor.

That wolf never attacked me it noticed me and just ignored me. And then it happened again about 2 game days later with the corpse being very decomposed like 3-4 days old in game they decompose faster then real life but the Wolf had no fur and barley any flesh. And when I went over there I forgot about the encounter and shot the mourning wolf and I felt really bad I almost cried.

In the game, you can actually stumble upon bucks fighting with the antlers entangled. I also believe I’ve seen a buck trying to untangle it’s antlers from a dead buck

The low honor ones can sometimes a wolf or a coyote cause the visions of the creature looking at the camera is a wolf based on the eyes and facial structure. And when the camera is facing its side its a coyote based on the body size.

But I just wanna say “Spirit Animal” is something specifically for indigenous people :)) Also about the bucks: They don’t necessarily fight for the thrill, but over resources and does. There are many instances where they do get stuck together and ultimately die of starvation, dehydration, or predation. There is even an encounter in-game where this happens! A buck is fighting a dead buck and runs away when you approach. It is also one of the spawn encounters for the Snow Buck in online.

Have you glitches out of the map from the devils cave? You get drunk on the first left till you pass out, and then you’ll wake up out of the map! While exploring you can find a ton of animals (even wolves) and they won’t attack you at all but they will react! There’s a lot of nice scenery up there too! I got a nice horse up there and was able to slide out around tall trees and was able to keep it! Pretty cool!

Hahah, I really like the theory for the last one. But what made me laugh is - they stuck and that's why they died but they rescue when they passed away :D such a tragic. How they were playing and their antlers got stuck and they died. The idea is very good and when you think it's not impossible keeping in mind how Rockstar make all these incredible things, attention to detail and suddenly something absolutely nonsense. I don't think that was exactly their idea but it sounds like something they would do :D

If there's one moment in the entire story that made me tear up was at the end of chapter 6 you see after chapter 2 I went back into the snow in mountains to get the rarest horse in the game and will we be fine what with it we explored new areas and run away from the law with it and missing just fall down and die really made me sad but then after few months I forgot about it because of John's horse Rachel and the thing is that my horse is name my name did Rachel
