@@ken-yo2hz Eh not really. Ky is really good and Kizzie is definitely cracked at the character. He has tools for pretty much everything with amazing oki and straight forward mix ups. Picking him up is really easy too but the problem is other characters just do everything he does better. That doesn’t mean you have to be the best to get results with him though.

And being minus on block is true for like the entire cast but sol LMAO Ky has the added benefit that if you space correctly you don’t get hard punished. I’m not saying he’s the best character just that you don’t have to be this god level player like Kizzie to find success. I literally main him to celestial LOL

@@midniteworks well first you’ll need to practice getting any hits into RTL and then what I do is make the bot block randomly and do a IAD jHS and try to react if I hit him or not

Everytime you press f.s, do the rtl motion input. If it hits, press button to ride. If no hit dont press. But it takes a lot of awareness to be doing this. Something tells me kay plays street fighter, cause that's where i heard this tech comes from

As a Nago main, I really just wish his anti-air punished Ky's air slash that resets his pressure. It feels so cheap to play patient and Ky just gets to reset over and over again. I definitely need to work on my overall defense with RC tools, but I'd almost rather play Sol lol.

Do you think Ky would be good if his damage got buffed with no other changes? I feel as though when watching Ky he never really struggles in any matchup, but when he is right he gets like half of what other characters would get.

Yes and no his damage isn’t really what’s wrong with him. But if he got a big damage buff it would skew risk reward and make him better obviously. Ky doesn’t lose any match up so hard that he cannot play like say goldlewis vs axl so changing the damage would improve every match up but kind of in a boring way that also wouldn’t feel great for either player.

@@MrKingAlex99 rule of thumb is if you pop bloodrage, 9 times out of 10, you *will* die. also, don't be afraid to use the specials but don't go overboard. if you're too afraid to use them, whoever you're fighting will capitalise on your hesitance and use that as an opportunity to get in since nago moves at a snails pace without 236K and 214K and if you overuse them, well then you'll enter bloodrage and risk throwing the match. f.S is a good poke and chains into itself to drop the blood gauge a lot (f.SSS recovers the same amount on hit as a HS normal), f.SS is special cancellable as well if I recall correctly. I'd also recommend looking at nago's dustloop page as well for more (and also likely better) advice on what to do
